You could have saved a lot of time and just googled. It's still in closed beta, as it says on the big button right in the center of the main page on it's home site.
There was beta keys on this site just a few days ago.I can look for mine ,i won't be using it,since i have learned my lesson there is no such thing as a good F2P game, they are all a ripoff designed to cheat you out of more money than a P2P game and with a less quality game.
m8 relax, Allods is a good game. Yes the f2p model has many disadvantages, but we'll just have to wait and see how this game turns out in the future. Don't rush into conclusions that fast. I'm a p2p fan myself but you cannot deny the fact that the specific game got so much publicity because of it being a seemingly polished f2p title.
Even if Allods started as p2p there would still be ppl that would find something else to complain about. You cannot satisfy all people at the same time.Sad but true.

Good game, but a corrupt payment model can quickly hose that up. Gpotato in particular is notorious for suddenly and unexpectedly doing "difficulty patches" to encourage people to buy their, rather pricey, item mall items to keep the characters people have invested time in going. Randomly crippling your game and having npcs advertise the item mall in the game (immersion, pierced, thanks for that...) is not what I would call a decent system. The F2P system works, in theory, where both the players and the publishers play fair. The problem is, neither do, and in the end the one with more control ends up screwing the other.
In P2P the publisher is at the mercy of the player, because they must keep the game interesting and worth their money for them to stick around. With F2P since they can stick around for as long as they want free of charge, the only incentive they need to push is to keep players paying up as frequently as possible.
If you care to learn Russian, you can play "release" version right now. :-) Well, officially they call it "open beta", but cash shop is already working and there isn't going to be a wipe, so I see no difference between OBT and release.
MMORPG genre is dead. Long live MMOCS (Massively Multiplayer Online Cash Shop).

wowfan1996 can you give us a little more insight on the cash shop? what does it include? will it be balance-killing?
My brain has 2 sides;Left and right. My left side has nothing right and my right side has nothing left...
Now, I can't recall everything, but from the top of my head:
1) So-called "patronage". Basically, it's a 20-60% buff to HP/Mana and a higher chance to break from CC early. The highest level of patronage involves a quest that reqs an item only available through CS.
2) Patronage isn't passive. You need consumables (incense) to keep it up. Incense is a very rare drop in game, so CS is your only reliable way to obtain it.
3) Runes. Socketables that add a percentage to all damage (in weapons) or a percentage to damage reduction (in armor). Each rune can be upgraded 9 times and every upgrade reqs consumables from CS.
5) Two separate "respec" potion types. "Aqua vita" - to reset stats and "aqua mortis" - to reset skills. (Both also drop in game but only from endgame dungeon bosses with a low chance.)
6) Inventory space. Default is 18 slots. You can spend 1-2 days grinding and add another 6. Everything above that comes only from CS. (Also every bag binds to the character you bought it with, so it can't be reused on alts or sold on AH like some other items from CS.)
7) Bank space. Same stuff. (Default bank has only 12 slots.)
8) Keys to locked chests. Cheap consumables. Probably also drop in game, but I've never seen one.
9) Chests that drop random green/blue stuff. Not very helpful.
Also some less notable items like RP clothes. Most of CS stuff can be resold on AH, but I'd expect prices in gold to be high and supply to be limited.

That seems like the only thing that could screw up the game balance, and i mean really screw up. 60% to hp/mana is A LOT!
Won't stop me from playing though :P

I'm curious to know.....does this game have PvP in it? I get the impression that its a PvE game like most MMOs so how does the cash shop have any impact on game balance when everyone is playing against the computer anyway? Maybe I'm missing something important here but if I teamed up with a player who has spent money on stuff from the cash shop then isnt that a good thing because he would be a more powerful ally that would make the content easier? I'm not in competition with the other players. Also if some of the content is blocked from me unless I buy items from the cash shop then again why would that matter considering the content which I CAN play is free anyway?

The game is pure PvE at lower levels but then it's open PvP (with PvE for leveling). Basically you arrive to Holy Land (the first PvP zone at LVL22-23) and suddenly all hell breaks loose and it starts to fell much like vanilla WoW on a PvP server. But, due to the absence of BGs, there's a lot more highlevels running around and ganking.

Heh. Think of it like this:
While you're leveling, you don't feel pressured to buy anything. Sure, mobs are tougher than in most other MMOs, but if you make a right build and change you gear often, you'll be alright.
But someday you hit 40 and things change. If you want to stay in game after that, you probably also want to join an end-game guild. Even if the guild doesn't require you to have CS stuff, you still feel retarded because your guildmates have more DPS, resilience, hitpoints and mana. Whatever role you choose, lack of CS items impairs you.

OP you can download the client and if you are lucky enough to grab a beta key (US or EU, US is A LOT more easier to find) you can give it a try.

Do not waste your time on F2p there is no such thing as free, these games are not charity operations lol.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

What? 99% of the F2p are pvp but have pve servers.
If I end up playing this game seriously I will spend a ton of cash on bag and bank slots for all my chars that is for sure!
