I have 3 EVE accounts that I pay for (yes, I could pay for them with ISK but I have other uses for it) because over the long haul EVE is my favorite game.  I also enjoy playing other games as well, so atm I'm paying for 2 Aion accounts to keep up my fantasy fix and game with my son.

EVE Online - for the PvP and the business sim side of it (manufacturing, market, couriering, etc)

AION - for the group PvE

Combat Arms - for the fast paced non-stop PvP

Occasionally I'll fire up Vanguard or Pirates of the Burning Sea for diversity in plinking away at mobs and loot gathering.

I'm playing DDO right now, I think it's really an underappreciated game. I love the combat, It has great graphics, and the quest are fun. I even like the limited PvP. I think LotRO looks cool, along with Star Wars: The Old Republic and Star Trek Online.

I play Champions Online in 20 minutes bursts, because that's all i can handle before i get bored of the monotony.

Just downloading Fallen Earth :D Got my trial key.

Why are there so many cutesie, fantasy, childish MMO's. Give me blood, gore and a long lasting challenge. I don't need my hand being held along the way. Thanks.

I'm currently playing Mabinogi, a fun game designed in pre-WoW years.  It lets me compose my own music and play in game.  It allows me to keep my weapons and armors throughout the game.  It has armors of historical European Templars and Spanish Conquistados.  It allows me to dye every part of every piece of equipments.  It's got both p2p and a f2p payment models.  I've played for 11 months and $30 is all I've spent on pets and mounts.  Yes, you can fish, exploring and dig for treasure, and its combat is semi-turn based full of tactics.   I left that game once before because of greedy Nexon but chose to return after the Iria patch made the rebirth system free.

The so-called "AAA" quality subscription game is a myth.  There is no such thing.  There are only games which are fun to play and games that are not fun to play, and it's all in the eyes of beholders i.e. the players.   All those self-proclaimed "AAA" games in the past five years have tanked terribly, so in my dictionary AAA are still only referring to auto club, battery size and abdominal aortic aneurysm.

There are plenty of other great F2P games out there, from NavyField to nDoor's Atlantic Online to EA's BattleForge, people need to keep an open mind if fun is what they're after.  Get the accomplishment in real life, and fun in games.

I currently play GW, and having fun with it.  The game for me is challenging, and keeps me imersed in the story quest but in a way that I can also explore the world at my own whim.  The one thing I have found fustrating is the Lvl cap in the released games, but hoping they expand that in GW 2 to allow more char. building.  It's a great F2P that doesn't have alot of the game glitches i've heard refered to from most other F2P, not to say there arn't any.  I would have to say that it is a great MMO to start with if you are new to online gaming in genral, and the community's are very helpfull to noobies in the most part.  I'm looking to move up to better F2P games, as well as a few P2Pgames.

Today is the first day of the rest of your life.

None right now =(  My most recents have been Aion but that bored me to tears.  Lots of WoW just for arenas and battlegrounds which was really fun and challenging if you played to win and compete but the pve, money farming, raiding started to get in the way.  I refuse to raid and farm.  So now I'm just in limbo.

I have played most of the MMOs over the years and from 2 months I'm back to UO. Its the only MMO that gives feeling of the real world - complete freedom, unlimited posibilites.

Eve online FTW! know what you mean about WOW though, i mean, half the problem with raids is that, its the same thing over and over again, just to get a piece of kit that is the must have.... for yet another raid.. to be repeated ad nauseum..  so i play Eve, pvp with consequence, or pve if you can't stand the heat, no levels, a single server, and corporate warfare, what more could you ask for.... a fps maybe.. well, hang onto your hats because dust 514 will be doing just that... tbh, i can't wait to see what planetside2 is going to be like, the original was awesome - until they introduced caverns and giant robots..

Guild Wars is not really a F2P. At least not in reference to what people here consider F2P games are. Also the character building in GW is not due to leveling but in skill collecting and how you can make different builds with the new skills.

Anyway, to the topic at hand. I am only playing Guild Wars at the moment, and really only perhaps a couple hours a week. I am having a real hard time getting into mmo's at the moment. Hopefully GW2 and the new Star Wars mmo will pick up my mmo interest when they come out.

The more common reference for Guild Wars is B2P (Buy 2 Play).

Neither myself, nor my GW addict brother can focus on it anymore. My brother, however, shifted to Requiem: Memento Mori and is loving it. I shifted LONG ago to many other games. I recently settled in the games I've mentioned before. =]

Maybe GW2 will rekindle my interest. God knows it'll rekindle his. xD

The only game Im subbed to now is DDO which is ironic since its gone "Free to play" :)

Also playing LotrO since I have a lifetime sub and just bought the new expansion (special edition of coruse ;))

    If WoW = The Beatles
    and WAR = Led Zeppelin
    Then LotrO = Pink Floyd

Currently I have 3 subs going:

World of Warcraft - In part because I  have since the first month it started so I have time invested plus people I know. I also enjoy the casual PvE/PvP. Despite what the majority of the forum posters here think I enjoy the PvP in WoW better than AoC, WAR, DF, Aion or EvE. I find for me it has more skill and involvement in the actual individual PvP combat. No, I don't care to debate that, it's my opinion after playing just about everything out there.

Lord of the Rings Online - Because I enjoy story and PvE and it has the absolute best of that out there. Vanguard comes a close second but a) it's dead and b) Smedly.

Fallen Earth - Because I love the open world feel. And because it is more... mellow than the other games. There doesn't seem to be that team up and level up mentality. It feels more about exploring and growing.

Yeah, I understand that debate on the PvP. You might actually enjoy Aika. 1000v1000 PvP. If only it weren't doomed to be a grinder, as it's being hosted by gPotato.
I personally don't enjoy to PAY for casual gaming monthly though. There are some pretty good F2Ps out there that offer the same quality to me.

I didn't like it too much. It was better than some offerings, but it wasn't my cup of tea.

Amen. I haven't played since closed beta ended, so I don't really know how the game fares now, but as I played through Alpha and Closed Beta from the very beginning, I got more than my fill of FE. ;)
