Well as many of you know since alot of you have been helping me search for a good MMORPG I've come down to four games that sounded pretty cool but I wasn't sure which one people thought was really good. So if you would please choose one out of these four and why, thanks everyone. OPINIONS APPRECIATED.

i played all those games , all quite a certain lenth of time if i were you i would stay away from lineage II as fast as you can why u say , hehe bots griefers boring quests yepee castles sieges where u die dozens of times still here ?? .
eq II , i rather not say my though, to me it's a less than average game being a eqlive fan for over 3 years .... my best mmo memories were there , simply enough i doubt eq II will hold you there long enough to be worth your 50$ no matter how nice the graphics because as i noticed all the game u have chosen have the best graphics in the mmo world as of now
hmm... swg what can i say i was a master weaponsmith, i used to go hunting with friends the few i had
and can i say solo group, yes with doctor buff for 10k u can solo like mad and creature would not even touch you thanks to buffs and armor. atm they are revamping combat basically they are redoing the whole game a - z , not a good time to try out again , even though i doubt personally that i will be back what killed it for me was the macroing people specially in the medic centers , the afk entertainers , and the ghost cities , heard that the new expansion in space was fun for while , maybe in 2 years swh will be great but that what everyone been saying potential is there but the devs are so darn lazy.
last there eveonline warning am a fan of this game , but game is not for everyone it kinda slow paced u drive your own content in game , game is a large economy the best system i have seem in a game , eq II should learn from these guys yes there mining boring some say but what difference is there to 3 hours mining or killing gnolls for 3 hours same thing to me , well overall if u want a mature audience and smart game go for eve plus graphics are awesome .
if not wait for DnL . . . looks promising

The first MMORPG I really got into was Star Wars Galaxies, I played for about 10 months, but left just before the release of JTL (the space expansion) because, its true, the developers are pretty lazy. How many times were we promised a combat revamp and given nothing? I was looking around some websites a couple of days back, and apparently, it still hasn't happened, three/four months since I left. It's a very fun game, though, and there really is a lot to do, and if you're a fan of the Star Wars universe, you're going to enjoy it a lot.
I tried the EVE online 10 day trial, but I just couldn't get into it. Its greatness (and unfortunately, its weakness) is the power of the game is given to you - you choose what you do, you drive the entire game. I'm sure if I had more time to try it out, I would have had much more fun, and would probably have stuck with the game.
I played the Lineage 2 Beta Test, but it kind of stunk. Too many PKers, Bots and just general annoyances. Probably the only reason people even play the game has something to do with bosoms. *cough*.
Everquest 2 is apparently mighty fine game, but I never tried it, and I gave away my beta to a friend who wanted to play with his guild.

shoot urself if this is ur choices. all of these games ahve good features in one area and majorly blow in another. i did L2 got to 55 adn because of one night of PKing adena farmers/bots i deleveled to 42 and then quit. SWG is too full of star wars geeks for me to ever play, thats also the main reason i didnt pick up city of heroes. and i have no experience with EVE online.
Dude what i did and what i would do if i was u is pick up the best selling MMORPG, GASP GASP its WORLD OF WARCRAFt. the reason i say this is because if its the best selling it appeals to the widest audience adn will have something in it for everyone.
and if u do join world of warcraft mail me at this site and ill help u start out.
but play WoW until dark and light comes out and look at theinterview on this sight to see why.

EQ2 is a great game, graphics are great, there are quests in abundance... But as I saw mentioned in a letter here on MMORPG they kind of forgot something... The fun part. I was all flames when I began playing EQ2, I'm into crafting so one of the first things I tried out was the crafting bit. It was fun that you had to be around and actually do something while you crafted or the thing you made either turned out bad or you died. Craft Craft Craft. Ok, now I'l level 10... Hmmm in order to make one thing I need 2-3 characters... ok, i have some friends that can make the things I need. Craft Craft Craft again ok, so now I am level 20... OH SH*T. Now I need like 5-6 diffrent characters to make one thing. This is where things get kind of hairy. It was kind of nice the first time I heard about it, but in practise it is real bad. People overcharge items and components outrageously. So ok, to the fighting part of the game.
Sweet you can make special attacks (like any MMO) but in addition you can initiate and execute combos. Now THAT is something... Only problem is that in order for you to execute the combo you need to use some kind of speach program. Otherwise combatspam will destroy the combo even before it is begun. But say that you actually manage to get the combo off. Then what? Well... err... I don't know. It MIGHT have done something, but to tell you the truth, I just don't know if it did anything els than showing some fancy graphics. I never noticed any great increase of damage or something like that. At least not enough to make it worth wile.
The grinding is all there. If you do the quests things might go a bit faster than if you just walk around hacking and wacking. But then in the end... WHY do I hack and slay for? The greatest flaw with EQ2 in my oppinion is the total lack of PvP. The game seems to be build for that reason. A "good" and a "bad" side. Quenos and Freeport. But what happens when you get over to the other city? Hmmm... Well... Nothing. This is where I understood that there is no point in the game. I would rather see a Might And Magic game with networking capabilitis (Not MMO but up to like 6 players) Then at least there would be some fun completing the game. But now. I gain a level, so what?
I hope you enjoy your gameing. Personally I lasted the free trial and half another subscription. I never felt sorry for trying the game. But then again, nor did I feel sorry for leaving it. If you want fast pased nonstop action... Go for Counter Strike or something like that.
Right now there are two MMOs I'm interrested in. DnL and FoM. FoM because it seems for once that my personal skill will actually matter. (And a lot of other things I like about it). And DnL because it is just totally unbelievable. From what you can read that game has everything a game should have... But then again. Most games do before they get relased...

Well Im not sure why Eve-Online is first... The world seems very bland and repitive and mostly you are sitting back watching your ship gatejump. Someone gave like 2,000,000 credits and i still didnt have fun. I quit on the 2nd day after giving away my ship, the credits, and the account. THats just me but I also felt like I minus as well be playing a singer player game because I never saw any other players or anything.
dont waste your time on swg, it isn't worth it.
L2? you need a clan or a group, farmer usually bully lonely player. There are many high lv players in L2 and they are not worry about famer coz they know how to deal with them.
People said this game sucks coz they dunno how to deal with people in game. They just cried for their daddy.

Except for Lineage II and Eve Online. Don't SWG and EQ have Free Trials? Try them for yourself, see if you like it.
I say SWG since you are new, you will like the game. I loved it for 1 whole year. And if you play now, you are gonna experience the changes that SOE is planning to do in the next couple of months.
Cause SWG is unbalanced, but you won't actually experience that since you actually gotta work your way to creating an uber character template to actually start PVPing against all the other Master Fencer + Master Swordsman + Master Brawlers out there.
And just don't become a Master Armorsmith, Master Weaponsmith, Master Architect or Master Shipwright because your prices could never compete to the prices of Veteran players. People sell weapons, armor, ships and houses at dirt-cheap prices you'll keep wondering how can they survive. Well they do cause they sell masses of items at cheap prices, making only 5% profit margin, but when you sell thousands of the same cheap item, you still come out of there rich.

I've played SWG (poor show SOE) and EQ2 (great if you like that sort of thing) but I've been playing EVE-Online for years so my advice is DL EVE-Online and give the 14 day trial a go to see if you like the style if you don't then go and buy EQ2 or L2 but give SWg a miss mate.
(the problem with SWG isn't the lag or unbalanced gameplay... the problem is its crap design and implementation, utter lack of originality/fun and SOE and their attitude to the playerbase *imo* it survives only because of the SW name)
I played em all but Everquest. (Playing EQ2 though... will quit tho)
Voted for EVE. If you like space combat it'S the game for you. SWG and Lineage 2 are just lame. This is just my opinion though.
