Just a quick one guys. Which is currently the highest populated server? All the servers say reccomended :?
Azphel or Zikel seemed to have the longest queues after launch, but it's hard to say which one has retained the most amount of players since.
I play an Asmo on Azphel, who according to Aion lore and fittingly enough was the Lord of Shadow. I play Sun-suckers on Ariel, who was the Lady of Light according to lore. Hence, that is how I chose my servers. Both seem to be booming with players whenever I log on, no matter the time.
I do have a RL friend that plays on Zikel and seems to be happy with his choice. We happen to be on separate servers due to the frequent locking of servers that took place during the release.

First, it's Israphel, not Asraphel and while those two servers were the most well known names due to beta, their pops were no match for Azphel or Zikel, which were the first two to lock and had the longest queues. Not to mention, I saw Azphel and Zikel listed as having full pops when logging on more often than any others.
Rolled on asphel. Any ideas why i can't see any of the chat or talk in it? just hit lvl 5 and still can't see or speak in the general chat channels
Believe me, seeing the chat is nothing to look forward too. If you thought that Barrens chat in WoW was bad wait till you experience Aion general chat.

Lumiel may have retained the most players since launch, but I don't believe it had the highest pop at launch. It's hard to say now though, as many people have left. However, that was bound to happen as their was no way Aion was going to retain everyone.
As far as being the RP server, that depends on which source you were going by as both Lumiel and Zikel were being touted as the RP server. Our Warhammer guild initially chose Zikel for that reason, but I was unable to create a char on that server cause it locked so friggin' fast on launch day. I then created an Asmo on Azphel which locked almost immediately after Zikel keeping my cousin from joining me on that server until later that evening.
It was pretty crazy trying to keep us all together!

I play on the LEAST populated server and love it. Great group of people for the most part.... I guess I never paid much attention to the server "size" and just went with one of the new servers when I re-rolled Asmo.

You know, one of the new servers was Islamtaeda (sp). The servers with guilds like "White Power" and "I DPed your mom", at least on asmo side.
I know that's your huge fan of the game but at least be honest. Great group of people? Yea, I guess if you consider sex starved neo-nazis to be a great group of people.

Gold spammers precaution, you can't chat in general / trade / whisper etc. until you're lvl10.
I know it sucks, but it's for a good cause.
It goes fairly quickly though. It shouldn't take you too long to hit lvl 10.

Because in a brilliant effort to battle gold spam, no one can speak (or send mail) until level 10 now, not 5.
I'm playing Aion, and I even enjoy myself sometimes.. but some things they do don't make any sense to me.
