Well then stop making new threads begging for CD keys, this only annoys us and will most likely result in you being ignored.
I am a firm believer in trading, so WHAt are people will to do or trade for CD keys?
I myself would give all my nice items and gold (in game of course) to anyone who gives me a key or two. (remember some people have 25+ keys)
How about the rest of you?

Well... I would give that person the first 10 pelts I find in the Feb BWE (that is IF I find pelts...)
the pre-orders are available pretty much anywhere as long as you are willing to pay a bit extra.
To use an analogy i used on another forum, you wouldn't go into McDonalds and expect to be able to eat a burger without paying for it.
You buy the game, then you play it, it's not that hard, the beta events are a reward for those that have commited to buying it, as well as allowing developers to get feedback from the community. The friends keys are for people who would like to try the game out after hearing about it but don't want to commit their money yet.
imo these keys are not for random people who would rather spend their money on other things, or who have no intention of buying the game but have heard that they can play for free if they have a key.
The majority of people from what i can see, of course i may be mistaken however, who are asking for keys have already played a previous beta, or have played the WPE, so put your hands in your wallet, pull out some money, and buy the damn thing.
If you enjoy the game, then support it by putting your money where your mouth is. If you dont enjoy the game then you wont buy it anyway so go elsewhere.

if i do manage to get a CD key i would gladly give it up to someone who has never played GW yet but needs a little convincing to buy it.
I have played one of the previous betas, however I mainly just try to test bugs, exploits etc:
When there is exploits to be found, I will find SOME and then i email arenanet the details.
Good luck to everyone for getting keys, and HolyBoy I am trying to buy GW deluxe as soon as it comes to Australia, however we have no pre orders or anything here.

I got my CD key from a computer game magazine because they were giving them away.
It was for the first BETA and it was Computer Games magazine. But i dunno if they're still doin it...
possibly so precision, i do not know about the availability of the game is australia, unfotunately i only know a handful of people there and those that i do are not playing.
For those saying about credit cards, one of my friends thought he had the same problem recently until he tried it with a debit card and it went through fine.
When it says credit card on an order site, the vast majority of times it merely means a normal banking card.
I do not have a credit card, but have never had a problem on any site ordering with my debit card. If you don't have a debit card, then ask a friend to pay on his and give him the money. Please don't try and convince me that neither you or any family and friends have a debit or credit card.
For those worrying about the availability of GuildWars there are a few sites that offer shipping to europe, i ordered my own from www.gamespot.com but would not reccomend it as they are not sending out my pre-order pack until release, merely mailing me the key so i get no friends pass either.
One site where msot of my fellow guild members have ordered from is www.importmadness.co.uk which has been an average of approx a week delivery and no problems shipping to uk, and i think other countries in europe.
We have members from sweden, norway, england, ireland, holland, finland, and more, sometimes it's taken a couple of days to find a site where they will ship to the appropriate country, but it sorts itself out if you're bothered anough.
If anyone is still worried about not being able to get their hands on the package then let me know what country you're from and i'll do some research to see if i can help you.

What is a debit-card? never heard of that..

a credit card is a card where you have a credit limit and you can pay back so much of it per month etc. or pay it all back at once, this doesn't affect your bank balance, you pay it off from your balance at a later date.
a debit card is a normal banking card, you use it to pay for goods in shops and the money from the purchase comes directly from your bank account, you can also use these cards to draw money from cas machines etc.

I did check out a few order sites already, debit card hasn't worked on any yet. Normally they want American express or visa card.
cannot remember the exact website i know other people ordered from who had no shops in their country with the game. it was www.interactcd.com or something
Im not a big fan of credit cards but im considering getting one just for this game
If anyone has some info for good places to order from for someone in Australia, would really appreicate it.
