Mortal online, is created by the Swedish company Starvault. And, since i'm from Sweden, i bought the game. And, i should start by saying that i'm not a fan of Sandboxs game. I bought the game to suport Swedish developers.
Part one, comparing. MUD, yeah i'm comparing a MMORPG with a MUD and hoping to god there's no death sentence dealt down. I'm not going to tell you anything about the MUD, i'm betting that most of you who ever been apart of a text based game knows what im talking about.
You see, i find it hard to compare to any other game. I start out having fun in my other online games, then it goes down. Way down latley. But on this game i had shit boring, yeah shit boring the first 3-4 hours. Why? Because i was a complete newbie again. For the first time in ages, i was new to a game. I didn't know what the heck to do, i didn't have a quest mark peaking out from back of a building. Or a 3 hour trail. And as soon i started learning the basic, i was killed, over and over again.
Challange!!..
Yeah, i wasn't waiting for it. Bang it hit me in the face like a freaking lizard with laser eyes and rocket feets. For the first time since Anarchy Online, or other games i've tried i suckt. Don't take me wrong, i'm not some uber god demon slaying son of a bitch on the other online games at first either. But i'm good, i bought Dragon age and Modern warfare two last week, and i'm topping almost all the games on Modern, ran through Dragon on normal/hard. Don't get me wrong, they're great games. It's just that i've played them before. Kotor, Baldurs gate 1-2, and so on. I've played them before. That's why im still shaking from my first 10-15 hours of Mortal, i've been owned, again and again. And it's fun, being on the bottom again. I'm learning stuff, things that i couldn't figure out the first 10 minutes of the game.
Please do notice that i did not play Ultima Online, or game with full loot before. Well, i lost some shiney things on Lineage 2. But it's not the same. I haven't been backstabt in the middle of a town, by some jerk who thinks it's fun pissing people off, in ages. I'm uset to thinking i'm close to immortals on Online games, or offline games. Death doesn't slap you in the face, but now it suddenly slapt me in the face with a railgun and it had quad damage on for two. This is the first time i resemble any Online game with an MUD, i do not feel immortal, death is a son of whatever and he'll blow it out the ass on you.
Is this good? I don't know, but i'm still loving logging in, yeah i know it hasn't been more then 10-15 hours. But i'm having a freaking blowjob by your sister.
This might not have done alot of sense, i dont care if you find any information in this post. I'm willing to answer questions if any are given. I just needed to write it off before i start working.

question: Is it really easy to just run away from someone to get out of being killed?
for example pvp happens someone is going to lose or doesn't want to fight, will it just turn into 10 mins of chasing someone where eventually they find a safe zone?
