Really? I can't see why some people make the big distinction between Twilight and True Blood. To me, they are the same and the only real difference is that in Twilight vampires SPARKLE.

In all honesty........ I like Twilight more than True Blood. But, that's just because I lived where Twilight is filmed and the scenery brings back memories. lol My dad called me the other day and said part of a scene in the trailer was shot about 1/4 mile from our house.

Kindred was based on White Wolf's IP (Vampire: The Masquerade) and the new WoDO is based on White Wolf's new World of Darkness setting, which includes Vampire: The Requiem which is the revamped (pun intended) of Vampire: The Masquerade.

Well, because of this thread I just installed Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines (never actually finished it). Installed a patch and started it up.
I was on a stage because of a violation from the person who sired me and looked over to see 2 people dancing on the same stage. Then someone yelled from across the room "NOOB".

But the game's in progress towards being released.

Since White wolf themselves are now a part of CCP they should be able to do the game justice. The whole idea of a MMO made together by a computer game and a pen and paper game company is interesting in itself.
I am all for a White Wolf version of a vampire MMO. I truly believe they could do a vampire MMO justice. But I am highly against any MMO's having to do with Twilight & True Blood. The books are good (great in TB's case), the movies & TV shows are good but as far as Twilight goes, it skews the world of vampires. Sure there have been many adaptations to vampires over the years, but I really think that the Twilight saga has been blown out of proportion.

I don't post much, just watch for news, usually regarding Star Wars (I am old enough that I went to the first Star Wars movie with my kids). My first mmo was SWG...the original SWG and life has never been the same since it got ruined. I played WoW for 3 years, going on 4, and now I play LOTRO. So, I am not trolling, I finally had something to say. It isn't about vampires that sparkle, its about I finally got interested in them and it was Twilight that did it. Listen, no offense, but... It's not an MMO material. I wanted Discworld MMO for several years now, but it's never going to happen, since it's not an MMO material as well. There is nothing TO buid an MMO about, outside of MUD/Second Life rip-off with a different skin.
That, and the fact, that there just may be a World of Darkness MMO in the works.
CCP are definitely working on a "World of Darkness" MMO. No word on when it will be released though.
A lot of people especially girls only love twilight because of the cast but not the story. in order for you to make a successful MMO you have to have a good storyline in which Twilight fails to have. >.<

In all honesty........ I like Twilight more than True Blood. But, that's just because I lived where Twilight is filmed and the scenery brings back memories. lol My dad called me the other day and said part of a scene in the trailer was shot about 1/4 mile from our house.
True blood shows boobies. Twilight shows man boobies. Pretty huge difference if you ask me.

A half decent effory at trolling, but you might want to try using an account that is not over 5 years old and then you say you have only been playing MMOs for a short time.
I don't post much, just watch for news, usually regarding Star Wars (I am old enough that I went to the first Star Wars movie with my kids). My first mmo was SWG...the original SWG and life has never been the same since it got ruined. I played WoW for 3 years, going on 4, and now I play LOTRO. So, I am not trolling, I finally had something to say. It isn't about vampires that sparkle, its about I finally got interested in them and it was Twilight that did it. I don't care if its all new or based on an already existing franchise, I just want to do Vampires.
Listen, no offense, but... It's not an MMO material. I wanted Discworld MMO for several years now, but it's never going to happen, since it's not an MMO material as well. There is nothing TO buid an MMO about, outside of MUD/Second Life rip-off with a different skin.
That, and the fact, that there just may be a World of Darkness MMO in the works.
CCP are definitely working on a "World of Darkness" MMO. No word on when it will be released though.

A lot of people especially girls only love twilight because of the cast but not the story. in order for you to make a successful MMO you have to have a good storyline in which Twilight fails to have. >.<
