there were 2 topics requesting to get it listed afaik, the most recent one got deleted.
Perhaps they posted in the wrong section and it was moved. Or, more likely, there was some sort of offending content disguised in the OP ( goldsellers have gotten very sneaky here lately ).
The topic mentioning it got deleted so i assume theres a reason they arent adding it.
Protip: if your original thread is deleted, making another one to press the same subject is not a wise idea.
I believe there are specific criteria a game must meet in order for it to be added to the mmorpg.com game list, if dawntide hasn't been listed then it is a good possibility that the game simply does not meet all of the required criteria.
if it's not listed it's not flame bait, count your blessings if you're interested in the game in the slightest :P
Grouping in Old school mmo's: meeting someone at the bar and chatting, getting to know them before jumping into bed. Current mmo's grouping: tinder. swipe, hookup, hope you don't get herpes, never see them again.
From what I've read, games get listed if formally requested by the dev and requirements are met. The procedure is posted here on the site. LINK Smaller Indie devs might not want additional traffic (just bogs down man-hours + creates PR hassles) and don't list until the last few months.

It is up to mmorpg.com to decide what they want to list. For instance, Many many game sites listed the single user brower game AdventureQuest for years before AQ World was released. Clearly the single user AQ doesn't allow any interaction between players, hence not meeting the listing requirement by almost all mmo sites.
It all depends on the relationship between the game developers and the sites, and relationship can be improved by many ways, such as 1 million ad impressions.
Well I created the thread in site suggestions which I thought would be the best place for it, I didn't know it had to be requested by the devs, that is a shame but I guess not surprising that the mods around here are to lazy to do any actual work
Another reason can be because these guys previous mmorpg experience was running a private EQ server.
MMORPG.COM, and most of the members here, are VERY anti-private server.
@Krogan: the mods have nothing to do with deciding on adding a game, the site admins do.
A major reason it's left to the devs to come to mmorpg.com is the fact in the past they listed games, only to have the devs come over and raise crap because they didn/t "authorize" them to do so.

If very few people on this site care about the game AND/OR the developers won't spend 60 minutes to get it listed. It's not going to.
I find it amazing that by 2020 first world countries will be competing to get immigrants.

There are requirements for getting a game listed, which the developers of the game would need to take care of.
However, it could be the developers don't want to get listed here yet.

One man, a small pile of money, and the screwball idea of a DIY Indie MMORPG? Yep, that's him. ~sigh~

How about because the guy that made it ran a pirate server for years?
Or maybe because he ran the aforementioned server poorly?
It could be because dawntide wont have more than 250-500 players?, most of which will be bastardized from their own emu.
Possibely they were just too lazy to get it listed here? I guess that goes hand in hand with how he ran their other server poorly.
Fans can request for a mmo to be listed too.
