Most amazing game experience
I just had the most entertaining game experience I have ever had in an MMO.
As level 31 Elyos Templar I took a rift to Morheim (Asmodian zone) to turn in a Spy quest in enemy territory. It lead me to a friendly zone where all mobs were friendly (green) to me but hostile (red) to Asmos. There is a long winding path up the mountain littered with patrols and soldiers to a place called Fortress of Sorrow. I ran up and turned in the quest on my way down I saw two Asmos and proceeded to kill them by pulling them into the mobs.
What followed was the most exhilarating 30 minutes of gaming. An opposition party has formed, first three, then four, five ... seven by the end, with the sole purpose of hunting me down. A tactical and strategical game ensued, they were trying to clean the path and mobs to get to me, all the while I was prowling around them, looking for any weakness trying to capitalize, pull in and finish off anyone who accidentally got low on health. I ended up with seven kills several times escaping with just a sliver of health ... oh boy ... I could feel them getting really mad!
Sometimes they lost patience and charged after me - huge battles took place - but by luck, lots of pots, scrolls and of course being a templar (specced purely defense) I managed to survive for very long - they almost got me a few times. I got a little devious - deliberately let my health get really low before using Empyrean Armor (a templar self heal) to make them think that they got me. This in turn made them throw caution into the wind and charge in! I had a grin on may face the whole day!
Later a larger party formed, 7 or so, it was amazing, I felt like an instance boss, here is a screenshot, all of them getting ready for a final charge

Haha yep the Fortress of Sorrow is a great advantage for Elyos rifters i'd say.

Why not? The world is full of naysayers. Note that I was to told here that there is no good PvP at low levels.
Now you are telling me there is no such PvP at high levels. Bah!!! See my friend, you are given a game, rules and options. The fun is what you make of it. It won't come on a silver platter.
I agree Aion is setting the benchmark in the MMO industry at the moment. The PVP is off the charts and everyone on my server and in my ever growing guild is having a blast..

I mean, the situation you describe is not THAT unique. In every game featuring factions, even F2P ones, you will see situations like this by the dozen. And 7 people getting pwned by mobs and a tank, bah, either they were complete noobs/careless, or the game mechanics have some serious flaws.

Well I played many games so far, never had anything similar happen, it will go down as one of my most memorable experiences (for the opponents not so much I guess).
If for you it is a common event then be happy and enjoy it. It sure won't make my experience any less enjoyable.
I would definantly not say that Aion is setting ANY sort of benchmarks in the MMO industry but I will say that it is entertaining for a short amount of time. PvP isn't what the game gives you, it is what you make of it yourself. To the OP: Great job entertaining yourself.. I would have loved to have been there to watch it lol!
I remember events such as this happening back in the day playing UO (tamer in a dungeon is still one of my favorite times) and in AC ("Crap he is trying to run.... SHOT HIM! SHOT HIM!) Good times

There is no PvP at high levels because due to the game mechanics it makes no sense to PvP at high levels. Ask high levels this and they will tell you the same thing. There are few rifts for a high level player and there just safer alternatives. This isn't my words, read some threads on Aionsource, you'll find the same thing.
I get it man, you like the game. Your countless threads and screenshots prove it. But you're only presenting your narrow view, a view that's not even 35+ where alot of people burn out. Again, not my words, check Aionsource.
yes the game is so amazing when all chinese servers are ghost town and US already lost 50% population.

What is a narrow in demonstrating that a lot of bashers simply pull their statements out from a dark, smelly place where the sun don't shine?
As I played on chinese servers I have to say you clearly have no idea at all.
Some people love killing other characters when they are low on health after a fight. Can't see it as epic.

if you didn't kill low level then you'd just end up having a lot of high level trying to kill you. always go for low health, not for dignty, but for common sense. if you had 2 people with knives coming at you and knocked one down would you not hit them again to make sure they're knocked down for sure or let them have the chance to stab you ?

actually he's not killing anyone at all, its a coward tactic that elyos always do. he pulls them into the agro mobs (wich does 0 dmg) so the mobs can kill the players for him. countless times i seen raid force of elyos pushed back to that place by pugs, they sit in there and and try to get people to follow them in so the NPCs kill players since they can't.
