Well that depends on your computer but it shouldnt be laggy. I had the settings on max everything for the best quality and it never lagged for me once. This game has been easier to get used to then any other MMO ive ever tryed.
Guild Wars - Rorick Aurlith E/Mo pumped up with the best armor and weapon, has all his skills, and runes. PvP King!
Dark Age of Camelot - Leaton 50 Vampiir - Lamorak - Guild: Magic and Mayhem!
I might want to add that I play the game on a decent pc (AMD 1333, 512mb, Geforce2GTS) and I'm still able to play the game without much lag, sometimes he has a bit problems with it, but the game runs fine and if you have a similar type of pc as me (or even higher) then I can tell you for sure you wont have much troubles with lag.

The interface took me about 30 mins or so to become fully comfortable with it. And now that I am confortable with it, I find it works incredibly. I prefer it to all other interfaces for MMOs I have seen to date.
They obviously put a lot of thought into designing the layout and playability. Sure there are a couple of things that could be tweaked, you can never satisfy everyone, but this is by far the best I've seen.
In fact, it runs better than any other 3D game I've tried, which is a big reason I'm playing it. I saw some slowdown when there was a big battle going on (like 8 vs 8 vs 8 vs 8), but I haven't messed around with the settings much or been in enough large battles to say for sure if it's going to be a problem or not.
In my play time with Guild Wars, I've experienced some lag, but not a whole lot. In small doses, you will notice the lag when you are trying to get from point A to point B, and you run that route two to three times. Or you simply won't move until your conection balances out.
Very rarely have I experienced lag so bad that it actually drops me out of game. Otherwise, the game is pretty solid even in its Beta form.

I played Guild Wars at the World Preview Event, and I didn't experience any lag. Performance was great too.
I think you will enjoy it very much.
