Need help finding a good mmo

enjoenjo Member UncommonPosts: 8

I'm searching for a  mmo and I need help finding it. I've checked some mmo's but I don't know which one to choose. Hire's a small list of the mmo's I've found but I don't know which one to play:

Chaos Online

Aion

EVE Online

Kal Online

Knight Online

I'm also open for suggestions for other games. Also I play sci-fi and fantasy games. I like games with many quests and also many graphical effects. Games I've played and I'm playing: Cabal Online, Mu Online, WoW, Last Chaos, Lineage, Infinity, Red Stone, Myth War, Talisman Online, Zero Online and some more but I don't remember their names right now.

The best MMOs around in my view are AoC, LoTRO, EVE, WoW and EQ2, the order depending rather on personal taste as well as the technical specs of your computer.

However, much depends on your preferred playstyle including PvE or PvP,  the degree to which you like to group/guild, whether you're solely interested in the endgame or want to take your time smelling the roses along the way, whether you're into raiding, and the business model ie sub or free to play.

You seem to be primarily interested in free-to-play Korean grindfests which is fine, but I would suggest they're all very much the same and unlikely to be considered by most people to represent the best MMOs currently on offer. I suspect that Runes of Magic would be worth a look if you are interested in that type of game although really it's no more than a cut-down pale imitation of WoW. Be aware that the so-called free-to-play games can be rather expensive once you factor in all the essential stuff you have to buy in them that you get automatically in the sub-based games - especially if you play alts.

My advice would be to have a look at some free trials, but in the meantime you might want to provide a bit more information about what sort of game you're looking for.

I checked out AoC and EQ2 and they seem to be good. I'll add them to my list. I might try AoC, EQ2 or EVE because they seem to be different from the MMO's I played until now. I'm looking for a game that gives you unique features and I don't really care if the game is paid or free. I also play PvP's more but I wouldn't mind PvE  games. As for the specs of my PC well I think I can run most of the games with this:

    CPU: 3,8 GHz Dual Core

    Ram:4 GB

    Video: 768 MB

    HDD:320 GB

Using LOL is like saying "my argument sucks but I still want to disagree".

I've seen C9, Tera and Blade & Soul but I've never seen the other ones. I checked the videos and they seem really good and fun to me
