How do I access ingame settings?

in Final Fantasy XI

I'm trying to make it compact keyboard so I can use WASD.

    Its in one of the config menu, menu's lol dont remember wish one but its there search for it IT EXISTS! ;D

    I believe it's the minus sign on the numberpad by default for menu.  That will allow you access to the config. option and you can change it to compacy keyboard.  This step is a serious pain for new players, but becomes much more fluid once it's changed. 

    I really don't know why they have anything besides the compact keyboard, it should really be default.
