I have never been and probably never will be a fan of Star Wars, however as an old Anarchy Online player who loved the game very much I have had a hard time finding a similar but more modern game. I've done my tour in WoW, played since launch but quit a few months ago but I have never really been a fan of warlocks, shamans etc etc. What I miss is my Anarchy Online style agent but nowdays the market is mostly flooded with fantasy games to cater a young teen audience while I feel lost and forgotten in the cest pool of shitty games that makes me wanna peel my skin off and die. I have seen some recent screenshots of "The old republic" and to my joy I found an agent like classes but I am still not on top of whats happening with this game or what it will be like so therefor I ask you: Is this the Anarchy Online replacement??
*cheers*

Lay of the drugs.
Sure, why not.
Or do more of them.
Or do more of them.
in his case, id suggest laying of them, because at the moment for some reason he has the urge to peel his own skin of and then dying wtf. So i would assume taking more mind altering substances would lead him to even more wierd ways to kill himself.
I see its kinda pointless asking people questions on this site, nevermind the original post :P

I'm sure he's being figurative. Hopefully. Besides, if he does more drugs, he might think that TOR will be a sandbox like AO. Then he won't be like one of the old fart SWG/sandbox fanboys who won't shut up about how TOR is basically a single-player game with multiplayer thrown in as an afterthought. Or how TOR won't have multiplayer features like raids, crafting, PvP, global chat, etc. Or any other baseless claim they seem to make on a daily basis.
OP, this game probably won't be like AO. It'll probably be like WoW with a Star Wars skin, except it'll have a storyline that's 100x better where you get to choose your path (and there's no reloading from a saved game point to see what would happen if you made a different choice, like in single-player RPGs). Besides that, though, and possibly more innovative raids/PvP/crafting (not much detail has been revealed about these aspects yet, though we should see some more info over the next few months), it'll be similar to WoW. Commonly referred to as a "themepark" MMO.

Congrats. You now officially know just as much as the most knowledgeable person outside of the TOR development team and a select few in the game media. Therefore, I fixed your post.

Yes it is. Your best bet is to just do as much research on the game as you can for yourself. Besides, any info anyone in these forums can give you, they had gotten it themselves from the same official places you would be able to. So save yourself the frustration of idiodic responses and do your own research.

Thanks for info and links.. sometimes its like finding information in a jungle
No heh, definately not, but you should check out Fallen Earth.
I care about your gaming 'problems' and teenage anxieties, just not today.
Hehe, yes it is. To be more direct. As Benjola suggested give FE a shot. I didn't exactly like it, but it may suit you. ToR won't be out for awhile so give some other games a shot.
