i'm from china , english is poor , but i really love this game , so who can tell me how to get 1 key ,

    lol i had a feeling that site was french...couldnt quite nail exactly what language they was speaking when i went there lol...but i didnt understand a word...so no contest for me :(

    They teach us French at school  and as far as i understand it this is what u must do to get ur key from  h**p://gw.mondespersistants.com/#256 (translated it into English)

    We decided, as for Beta of last December, to save to you one of these keys thanks to a contest, and yes that is deserved a little nevertheless.

    To make it possible for maximum of people to try their chance there will be in fact 4 categories in this contest. You will be able to take part only one time and in only one category. The contest closes on Sunday 13 February at midnight

    All works must be in connection with the world of Guild Wars, As suspected 

    First Category: A free text, history of an adventure, of an exploration, of a battle. In impeccable French of course.
    Second category: The creation of original Wallpaper (a bond towards Wallpaper andp reference 1024x768)
    Third category: A Fan art. (a bond towards the desired drawing)
    Fourth category: A poem    .

    and the requirements are:

    Restrictions:
    - Screen resolution can be in any of the following: 800 x 600, 1024 x 768, 1280 x 1024, 1600 x 1200
    - Wallpapers must have the follow (click on the links for the source): Guild Wars logo, one or more characters from my character set or from ArenaNet's character set in the foreground and an attractive Photoshop'ed background
    - Pictures must be in either .jpg or .bmp format
    - All entrys must be submitted by February 15th, 2005.
    NOTE:
    - Wallpapers will be judged on their uniqueness.
    - You can enter as many times as you want, but only one of the entry will be eligible for a prize.
    - Anyone in the world can participate.
    - Please feel free to email me if you have any questions regarding the contest.
    * Please try and use your own file hosting and email me the link. I will then copy it to my hard drive for evaluation. If you simply can not find hosting of your own, as a last resort email me the picture in a compressed format

    I also found this as another reason for the delay of the beta weekend:

    "ArenaNet will be giving gaming sites and Guild Wars fansite BWE keys to hand out via contests -This is great news! I don't know how many keys will be available per site, but with a few dozen Guild Wars fansites, a person without a key should have absolutely no troubling scoring at least one for the Feb BWE. Also this gives us, the fansites, time to prepare these contests and get them ready for you!"

    So there will be more site`s!!!!!!!! Keep looking image

    Fileplanet is giving out loads of them :D i got one so i was in the beta i will get one for meself for this beta on the 18th of Febuary...
