Hi,

We are sorry that we couldn't meet your expectation this time.

Now I'm afraid if there is nothing further i can assist you with , would you mind if i close this petition for you ?

Best regards,

GM Edo

EVE Online Customer Support

So i gonna wait to see if he closes the petition..

Problem was over the amount of matts it took to build a Golem.

Before the patch i had anough to build the golem was waiting for all the parts to

be built in their lab...  one part takes 9 days to finish was about done..

When the New Patch came they changed the amount of matts..

since i don't Moon mine i had to buy all new matts and wait another 9days to finish the Golem.

By the way its take 4 days to built a Golem..

Cost of Matts = 750mil  (Before the Patch)

Cost of Matts = 550mil  (After Patch)  extra amount of matts i had to buy

Golem are being sold  starting price  850mil - 1.1Bil  in game

was gonna save  100mil if i build myself

COST!! = 1.3 bill  now and  14 more days to wait

Thanks EVE  or maybe   CCP  hope the new patch gets you lots of Players

EVE ONLINE TROLL!!!!!

Well, as I see it, you have only yourself to blame:

From Chronotis Dev Blog, posted two months before Dominion:

"... As mentioned during the recent alliance tournament interviews, our initial focus and fixes focused around the quantities of construction components required in Tech II ships.  ... The approach being taken is to reduce the quantity of construction components such as reactors, shield emitters and thrusters derived from dysprosium and promethium moon materials, for example, whilst increasing the quantities required of the more common and very cheap materials such as armor plates. ...

So, CCP told us well in advance that the requirements for the construction of T2 ships is going to change, yet you disregard that info and invest a large amount of ISK in materials to build a T2 ship after the patch, not knowing what the final mat. requirements for your ship will be... and now you blame CCP for... for what exactly do you blame them?

    Sorry, I don't get it.

Next time assume quietly that you just f###ed up, as we all do at one time or another, and shut up or laugh about it. We all have done terribly stupid things in EvE and in any other game we happen to play, but going public and blaming others for our own stupidity, well, it makes you look quite stupid frankly.

whilst increasing the quantities required of the more common and very cheap materials such as armor plates. ...

Sir thanks for your very good info....

    Cheap Materials   haha

Did you know the exact Date that the patch would be released?

    Cheap = Less

    MMMMM

    Something wrong there

    Yes it is cheaper...

Look, you build a ship pre patch and it takes 10 item A and 10 iem B to make.

    Item A costs 500million item B costs 250million

Post patch it takes 5 item A and 15 item B

    See the reduction?

You had already paid for the equipment, so yes, you had to buy more to cover the change, but you also have extra now.

That post I referred to was a very early post, it also says (but you have to read it of course) "...the numbers are only as a demonstration of the change and are not final! ... there will be more changes to come which build upon the core changes outlined here, such as adjustments to component build times and to the armor plate materials ... these changes will be detailed further in the test server forum ..." So you knew, should you have cared to read the announcements and relevant forums, that there were changes and that those were not final.
Did you know the exact Date that the patch would be released?
Do you really are that thick? The exact date was announced two months in advance, so yes I and most players who cared about this game knew the date. What I don't understand is how you apparently didn't, given how much you were gambling with the construction of a hugely expensive ship after an announced patch that announced changes in the construction materials of that ship.
    MMMMM
    Something wrong there
Let me see. You are told with two months time the exact date of the patch, you are told that it will affect the materials needed for your ship, and yet you choose to gather materials before the patch and to build it after the patch... yes, there is something wrong here.
Also, posting  your mistakes public and blaming it to CCP while maintaining that you didn't know in advance even the date of the patch... yeah, something is veeery wrong here. I dare say it is you. Why don't you just acknowledge that your building went wrong because you failed to take into account the Dominion changes?

I spent a very large sum of isk on bookmarks two weeks before they were removed from the game. Don't  think I will ever get over that TBH, and I can just imagine the laugh the BM seller was having. So I can certainly understand how it could happen. That being said, It certainly never entered my mind to blame CCP for what was clearly me having a very DOOH! moment.

I sold 5 faction heavy NOS for over 100m each (these days they sell for around 25-30m) the day before the NOS nerf patch :) I piety the guy who bought them but not my problem that he did not stay on top of upcoming changes.

Well like the OP, and unlike many other players, my free time to keep up on EVE changes is pretty limited.  I probably don't know half of what the last expansion brought much less this latest one.

Because of this flaw in my character, I make sure to not make any major decisions around expansion time until I've had a chance to investigate my plans and run them past people more knowledgeable and informed than I.

But what I'd never do is share a folly like this on the forums and complain about it, won't see much sympathy from this crowd.

Its just one of those things, its not CCP's fault, nor am i saying its yours in particular, but i do know how frustrating it is to lose 100's of millions of isk,  i lost over a billion myself when an alliance i was in lost sov in a 0.0 system i had my dread stationed at, i was on holiday for a few weeks, and missed all the action.. and lost a naglfar ...  sometimes.. you just have to 'take it on the chin' .. doesnt make it any less painful i know..

I hate to say this, but I'm pretty sure the OP is a joke. Nobody's that stupid.

Yeah, I agree. Especially in the Rookie Help channel. They're always keeping the place clean, answering questions, punishing idiots, and...

Oh. Now that I've read your post, I'm laughing.
