When you're fed up of WoW

Being made by a couple of former Blizzard employees some of the abilities are reminescent of WoW. It's not a mmorpg, but if you wanted kind of satisfying pvp-type play in a multiplayer game this is an excellent game for that. Worth the time to look at, especially being free and I think those who do will find either (1) they'll drop their WoW addiction and play this or (2) they'll refind their WoW passion.

(by the way it's not some crappy browser game, so you'll have to download it, 750mb or so)

    So let me get this straight. Someone who's fed up with wow wants to play a game made from war3? I know it supposedly has it's own engine etc. etc. But the point is it's just dota with new graphics. And honestly dota wasn't all that great to me and probably alot of other people.

    Absolutely, as I say it's reminescent of WoW. A key part of all Blizzard games has been is it's fun abilities, this game continues with that. And this game is inherently based on Dota yes but isn't, it's actually been described as 'an evolution of Dota', and been nominated in a shortlist for PC game of the year by gamespy for it's efforts in this regard. Furthermore I'm actually a fan of it despite not actually liking Dota Allstars. In all it has a nice selection of champions, and is a very well done game.

    It's obvious you don't get it since what I'm talking about is GOA as a publisher, not a developer. GOA Daoc (EU) was Horrible. GOA WAR (EU) just reaffirmed I want nothing to do with GOA anymore.

    End of story, shame for the games I might miss due to some company choosing them, shame for those companies for missing another sale due to their choice of publishers.

    It's free, calm down. It can't hurt to try it if it's free, if you don't like it you can just delete it from your hard drive.

    I'm perfectly calm, I'm just describing why for me seeing GOA attached to something means 'Exit, stage right!'
