errr...
Everthing is fine but that. I remember minimum requirments had other cards, but I also remember someone saying a while ago that they used lower cards and they worked
so if ANYTHING won't let you run it, it's that.

I had a ATI Radeon 8500 but it has compatible problem with EQ2. I am sured of this. I knew that ATI 8500 is not good compatibility with many games. ATI 7500 seems better in compatibility but you are going to have lag problem and performance problem to play EQ2 with ATI 7500. Try to download the latest driver from ATI may help a little bit.
I changed my 8500 to 9600PRO running ok but I still need to lower the resolution and many other thing to avoid the lag.

-Operating System: Windows 98/2000/ME/XP
-Processor: 1GHz or greater
-RAM: 512 MB
-Video Card: DirectX 9 compatible. Pixel shader and vertex shader compatible hardware with 64 MB of texture memory
-Sound Card: DirectSound compatible audio hardware
thats the minimum.....although i have seen people play it with less (with horrible results)
i would have to say that i would hold off on EQ2 until you upgrade your comp. a bit, but thats just me , and i could be wrong (comp. isn't really my field)
It says i can't play EQ2 because my card needs 4 textures or somehtign like that......is there a way I can fix that or is it just the card it self?

It's just the card. You can find an Eq2 compatible card for pretty damn cheap these days though.
your video card is just too old, you should upgrade it for other games also it wont just be helping you with eq2. any games will look alot better with a better gfx card.
Well when looking at cards how do you know how many textureunits it has?!
and might anyone have a spare vid card that will play eq2????If so please reply or pm me.
