I haven't been able to get to the application, as it refuses to let me past the logon page, everytime I hit submit the page just reloads itself; it's really starting to piss me off because I've been trying since I found out about it last night!
It reloads because you do not have a Square Enix account.Just go ahead and make one takes no time at all.
The part i don't understand is they said they will base their decisions from the information players provide,well there is NO information provided lol,so what the heck are they on about.I can't see any logical decision based on age/gender or location.

When I logged in for the beta application, it went through two pages. The first one went by so fast I didn't see it. The second one all it says is "Error" "The region is different".
If I click back button, it goes to a Maintenance page saying "The service is currently unavailable due to maintenance. Please try again at a later time."
Im glad they didnot ask for dxdiag file since Im upgradeing in jan and my 8600 gts sucks. Oddly enuf not sure why I have not gotten and ff14 newletters from the other site seeing how I been setup there since is opened up.

I don't think people will receive beta invitation by mid January. Or, earlier if they get like 200k applicants (lol) and they only need 20k... i'm sure there's no point to waiting and getting even more applications you'll never use.
I'm pretty sure to post that you got a beta invitation might be a violation of the NDA.
Yay it's working this evening! I went ahead and signed up! Good luck to everyone who is seriously interested in this game and testing it to make it better! Hope we all get in!

Maybe try to update your FF? I'm using 3.5.6 now and have no problem.
