Ok all I am not new to MMOs by a long shot.. Old school here EQ1 beta days... I can say I have been there done that in so many different games.

Well I have to say Age of Conan Dungeons the 2 I have seen so far are absolutely Fantastic.

First When you hit level 34 to 36 head to Khoseph Province and visit "The Ancient Pyramid"  Take a few friends.. This dungeon is a blast. Not only is it visually appealing But the story behind it is pretty intense.  Also be Warned. Traps. that hurt more so than the mobs!.. to many dungeons in to many games seem to forget about traps.. and I mean trraps you got to look for. The maze in the pyramid with poison gas and mobs infesting it, great touch. and the assassin mobs that ambush. This dungeon is just absolutely a fun dungeon to run. One of the most fun I have been in in awhile. I mean entering into the dungeon for the first time and seeing eunochs (gellded men) chasing down topless harem women to butcher them had me rolling.. The end boss is a blast.. good luck in taking him down.

Next there is the Sanctum. I mean the depth to this dungeon is unreal.. the blood chamber was just awe inspring. I will admit that the boss fights were a little bit to much tank and spank for me. but the overall feel of the dungeon was just great.

First 2 dungeons in this game had me pretty impressed.  I have played Some of the mega instances back in the early days of WOW.. was a dungeon fanatic in EQ1... And ran the best of them in Vanguard. I have to say that Age of Conans Dungeons are definately faster paced than any of the above. Being more on PAR with some of the DDO dungeons I have witnessed. I am keeping my fingers crossed that as we continue to level and get into the higher end of the game they will continue to get even better.

Well figured I would share the experience.. If you have not tried this game. Do yourself a favor and try it out. Its alot of fun. Currently I am level 41 on my Herald of Xotle, and having a blast. Normally I play a tank. So this is a new role for me, and i am really enjoying the change.

Ohh one thing there are 2 smaller dungeons before this. One in tortage sewers and the sewers under Tarantia. I didnt include those. Those were meh similar to games like maybe EQ2 dungeons lol

Ive never been much of a raider in any of the mmos Ive played..that was until I got to AoC. I will say the dungeons here are top notch and each of them offers a lot of variety and fun.

My personal favorite is Amphitheater of Karutonia where you get to free the Frost Father while fighting one hell of a cool looking boss.

Glad you are enjoying yourself. Get into a good raiding guild and it can give you an even more fantastic time in the game.

The pyrammids is a solo instance. Although you can of course bring youre friends, your not supposed to :p

    But ya, it's a nice one :)

Civilized men are more discourteous than savages because they know they can be impolite without having their skulls split, as a general thing.

AoC has some pretty good, immersive instances.  The game suffers in alot of categories, but it shines in that one.

HoX's are my favorite; Mage with a huge sword; good stuff!

You can choose normal mode for solo and epic mode for groups - epic mode gives better loot.

The best Dungeon so far is the "Amphitheatre of Karutonia" in ymirs pass from levels mid 50 to early 60.

When you visit the "Pyramid of the Ancients" never forget the "Treasury of the Ancients" nearby - the first time it has an amazing gameplay!

ah ya forgot about epic mode :p

I've seen people do it in groups in "normal mode" is why I mentioned this.

Black Castle needs at least 4 players - Pyramid can be done solo...

Unfortunately for every good dungeon there are at least two crap dungeons. The Cistern and Main System being a good example. Trash mobs with massive HPs to the gills and lousy loot for hours of hard work.

Yes agree! The other I hated is CoD (Crypt of Decay). The loot was very bleh for what you do in there.

I do like Amp Theatre. That was a lot of fun the first time. Still it has a good variety of loot.
