Man marries a game avatar

To be clear this is not a marriage between two PC avatars but rather between a real man and a fictional game avatar (i.e. not controlled by a real person).

    However it does bring a new meaning to "cyber sex".

    Wonder if she divorces him, his alimony payments will also require supplying the DS with batteries to keep her alive?

    Personally, I'm starting to think there needs to be a Great Wall of Japan. Not for their protection, but for ours. Some seriously deranged culture over there. Between their "gameshows", tentacle porn, and  marrying pixels, I'm really afraid for what they will do next.

    Come on, I agree its deranged stuff but it is mostly harmless. On the positive side Japan produces alot of good stuff as well. Like cars, PS3 and other hightech electronics. Not to mention samurai fiction :)

    How in the HELL would this be considered urban legend? A urban legend is a fairytale,a myth. This is not,you can obviously see that he's a real guy..just....with some "special" fetishes. I wonder if he goes through the headphone or charger hole?

    Funny that the video talks about the rising trend in digital / internet social interactions, but fails to mention any why of it.



    People are repressed by the real world, so they head to digital worlds to escape that. There's a lot more depth to the answer than that, but that's up to you to figure out - mostly to spare you of my terrible lectures - but also because Google is only a jump away at any given time.
