TremorsTremors Member Posts: 14

Hi, i am looking for a fun mmorpg that has INSTANCED (pref) dungeons, possibley raids and has end-game content where your guild and you do a dungeon and or raid (similar to WoW) i dont mind about pvp. it has to be F2P.

Other than the handful of obscure sandbox titles all mmos have raid focused endgames of some kind.

Even a game like WAR has you running Raids of some kind.

I would try out Aion they have a nice raiding system.

I'm sorry I must have missed the f2p of your posts.

Last time I checked I think Requiem has instanced raids and so does Perfect world.

It's hard to recommend a f2p game as they tend to be much lower quality then the p2p games.

You wont get a p2p experience in a f2p game sorry.

do is f2p, but its more of a pain than if you pay. you can do everything a p2p does but you have to use special items to unlock higher lrvels, they can be found by killing mobs or traded from other players.

is DDO have a itemshop? system reqs and how big is the download

It has a store but less focus on items (you can get better in game a lot easier) and more on buying adventure packs. Here is a summary of what is on offer.

    compendium.ddo.com/wiki/DDO_Store_Guide

One important factor is you can earn points to spend in the store by finishing quests, although doing it that way would be very grind heavy.

Low res around 3 gig, high res around 4 gig. But I believe they have an option that downloads a cut down low res version so you can start to play while it downloads the rest in the background. Not tried it so can't say if it works well.

You can also pick the old box version up cheap and you get a month of VIP status, when that ends you get left with some extra benefits like extra characters slots.

As for system requirements it has some DX10 support, but your laptop should be able to meet the minimum requirements for DX9.
