So many MMO's, so little diversity.

Play one = play them all.

Well from your post its hard to tell what type of gamer are you? Do you prefer PVE or PVP? do you solo regularly or are you a more group oriented player? You said you dont like games that feel like a grind so the whole go out and kill X many number mobs quests seems to be an issue?

I can tell you this much. I get bored alot more quickly on the more solo oriented games it seems.. I guess the reason why is, one of the most important aspects of playing an MMO to begin with is that you are playing along with others, maybe even actually making friends. However this seems to be something less and less people want in MMOs. You see more and more people soloing. Less people playing in PUGs, or only grouping with a few select people in the times they cant achieve something solo.

If you have only stayed for a month it sounds to me like your not making any friends, and making friends in almost any hobby is a good way to keep your interest up. Gives you someone to talk with about the interest or even enjoy the interest together.

So recommendation wise. I can only base off what my tastes are.. Which currently most games are going for more solo friendly playstyle. Maybe give Vanguard a go.. Which is very group oriented with a great community. One that doesnt discourage PUGs..A game where it can be fairly easy to make friends, because 78% of the game is based off of working together. Which to me helps me enjoy the game more and not realize that at times we are just grinding.

Currently I am playing age of conan and loving it. While its true that their is a large amount of the game that can be solod here. I play even thru the soloable parts with friends mainly. Even if I get less of a XP reward or less loot. It makes the game more fun.
