how to create new character ?

lol i cant get out of the appartment after started first time the game, even the nice guide i posted dont describe how to make new character and delete old one - maybe im bugged.

i walked over the vertex, pressed many times use button (return) nothing happened at all..

btw i cant login now seems server are down is that right ?

    I can't get pass the character description part. No matter what i type in, it doesn't allow me to go 'next'.

    ok at least vertex worked now, i recognized that teleportation is 1 m about in front of the vertex ... in my case

    No... its called lag. Youll see a lot of it for awhile.

    To delete the old character and make a new one you must go to www.fomportal.com and go under subscribers and then select game account (once you log in). That will bring up a screen which describes your character. Now all you have to do is delete that character. But be aware that if you delete this character you will not be able to use that name ever again.

    And yes the servers are probably down. You'll find that happening alot when you test beta. Let them work out the kinks. One such kink may be that you cannot use the vortex. The idea isn't so much to enjoy the game right now as it is to help it become enjoyable.

    you create a new char at teh patch screen also.. look up top before you log in

    I can't get pass the character description part. No matter what i type in, it doesn't allow me to go 'next'.

     

     

    Had same problem, I pressed Alt+F4 to exit the game, logged back in and then it wouldnt log in all the way, so then I used the exit game option and it did the proper quitting process.

     

    So then when I started the game again, and logged in, I was in my appartment with the first description I typed.

    This is in the patch notes, you might not want to delete:

     "24h hour timeout added between permadeath/character deletion and new character creation"
