will square ever lower ffxi fee's?

  well with every on line game the fees are for keeping the severs up and running and makeing the game better than what it is  no way to get around it

  Fees usally get lower under three conditions

  1. The longer you play | Sometimes older members (the lenght of your membership, not your age) can get you a discount, but i haven't heard of this happening.
  2. The Older the Game | The older the game gets, the less money it will cost to play the game.
  3. More Players | The more players playing, the less it will coast, because they will be bringing in more money.

  They arent going to change it because there is no reason to. What a lot of people dont seem to understand is that it takes a lot of time and money to keep up these servers. Just because you dont have a job or money doesnt mean they shouldnt charge a monthly fee.
