MX500 and MX510

I was wondering if this happens to anyone eles who has an mx500 or a 510...

When I turn my computer off like shutdown the laser from my mx500 is still on, the only way I can shut it off if I turn the powerbar off. But the Mx500 is connected to my computer and my computer is shutoff so how does it still have power on?

    I got a mx510 , mine infrared stays on too , but that ist a bad thing :)
    if you want to shut it off , shut down your power suply after you shut down your computer .
    then it will certainly be out!
    or install the cd you got with it , maybe there is a option for it !?
