Ive been playing A3 for a week, whilst its in beta but living in the Uk and their server in Singapore I should never expect the lag to clear.
Ive chatted to many friends online who have tried various games, Ive tried myth of soma. mir2, mir3, conquer, eve online, muonline and biosfear and none of them seem to capture my attention for longer then 4 weeks.
Is the truth really that there are no decent european games out there to play? I cant get into WOW and 3d games were not my first choice anyways,
If anyone has any links to any decent games for me to look at - I dont mind paying and downloading clients etc.. Please post them here.
many thanks,
Poiz.

Good 2D game - Ultima Online, old but still rocks and its a MMORPG not pure hack'n'slash.
No, right there you are wrong. There are plenty of good games out there just have to look hard enough. Maybe they might not have the best graphics of the best gameplay or community but they are the heart of mmorpg gaming and thats where you will find the best gaming experience. Just think about the basics like the fn factor and the overall experience you have and not to dwell on the bad but the good.
Textor whatever mmorpg gaming experience is what you make of it.

Well I dunno about Europe, but Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2 is coming out next week in North American! Booyah!!! No World of Warcraft for at least 1 week for me!
The first KOTOR rocked, and I didn't dare buy KOTOR2 on Xbox after seeing the bugs and slowdowns from the original one on Xbox. The PC version is gonna own!
But for MMORPGs... yeah... there isn't many. You should try a few yourself, considering a lot of them have 7 day free trials, and find out which one you like best.

Stealth - Ambush - Hemorrhage - Sinister Strike x2 - Cold Blood - Eviscerate - Vanish - Preparation - Cold Blood - Ambush - ... you're dead! :P
Play WoW for a month then try Mourning which is supposed to release 2-25. Wow is fun short term but too easy overall.
Mourning has some interesting concepts and will have a significant battle loss penalty unlike Wow and so many other MMOs these days which allow players to disrespect the environment and take all sorts of foolish chances without significant repercussions.
Eve Online is a poor choice. The game is forever flawed because of the UPWARD(making it harder) nerfing after launch, which allowed early players to make lots of money easily, and in turn gave them a huge advantage and head start to produce items aka tradeskill ala Eve online. This was a poor decision and a result of improper beta testing/balancing.
In any MMO there will be a lvl, skill, economic, and game knowledge gap between early players and later players, but it should only be based on time played and individual skills. The gap that was artificially created in EvE online because of UPWARD nerfing is too vast to overcome and catch up for latter players.
