Deciding between...

Darkfall and Dragon Age: Origins. I just wanted to see everyone's opinion on whether I should buy Darkfall or Dragon Age: Origins. I know that I would love Darkfall, and I believe I would like Dragon age, but just wanted to see the pros and cons before I make a full decision. Please people that know anything about both games, give me your opinions, full analysis and why. Thank you.

Well then the question I feel that needs to be asked is whether you want to play an MMO or single-player game? An MMO will tend to last you longer than a single-player game and it has the social aspects. Single-player games usually have decent storylines, but they do... end.

  • Though I could go either way...I know I would love the world of Darkfall and probably have hours and hours of fun with some clan that I hook up with. Though I figure I would love Dragon Age just as much...I'm not sure though..

Which is better: Apple or Orange juice?

Personally i thought Dragon Age was great, but i finished it in about 80 hours. Im sure Darkfall has more content available than that. But then again your also paying a recuring fee for it as well. Really nobody is going to be able to tell you which is better. Its far too subjective.

Been a while since an MMO entertained me for more than 80 hours...seriously. I am currently playing Dragon Age and loving it, and I'm already thinking about my next playthrough. So I have a lot more hours to go.

but to the OP, if you like Darkfall, and you KNOW it will keep you entertained for more than a few months, go for it.  The thing about single player RPGs is that you're not missing anything. Dragon Age will still be on the shelf when you decide to get it. MMOs on the other hand, you have to get into them while they are hot
