Try Alganon Today!

Dear patshir,

As someone who has created a MyAlganon.com account in the past we wanted to let you know that you can try Alganon now at no-cost. We've created the Alganon Trial Server System to allow all players to experience what Alganon has to offer before they make their purchase decision.

As a current MyAlganon user you already have everything you need to get started. Once you have installed or updated your Alganon game client you will be able to sign into the game and create characters on the trial server. If you have not installed the game client simply login to MyAlganon.com, click the "Download" link and follow the instructions.

If you would like to bring friends and family into Alganon who don't yet have a MyAlganon account please direct them to Alganon.com/trial and have them click "Try Alganon". They will then be able to create a new MyAlganon account and join you in Alganon.

Trial Server Frequently Asked Questions:

What types of activities can I do on the trial server?

Players can explore, quest, level, and craft. They can also use the studies system, the auction house and more.

How long does my trial last?

Individual trial characters more than 30 days old will periodically be deleted. All MyAlganon accounts will retain access to the trial servers, only the individual characters will be deleted.

Are there restrictions on what level I can reach?

There are no restrictions on the level a player can reach on the trial server.

What restrictions are placed on crafting and Studies?

Players on a trial server may level any trade skill to a maximum of 199 and may study up to rank 3 of any study.

What restrictions are in place for chat, grouping, etc?

There are specific restrictions put in place on the trial server to limit abuse, harassment, gold spam, and other activities that lessen the player experience. Chat, trade, group invites and more are limited to mutual friends (both players must have the other on their friends list).

We are excited to be able to let all players experience Alganon. We hope to see you in Alganon soon!

Cheers,

Well we have here two possible reasons to this move: 1) they are desperate 2) they only want to promote their game to a wide audience. And we have here to possible consequences ot this move: 1) people will play a few days and leave without paying a penny accelerating the game's end 2) more people will buy the game and play it monthly saving the franchise. What is your guess?

It's not the copying that sucks with this game. It's the quality. I agree that this game will serve as an example to other developers with get-rich-quick schemes, but not for copying a successful model. Mebbe investors will finally learn that quality matters... LOL!
