Guild Wars pets

I think there should be some type of pets or animals that you can travel on. You should also be able to get other creatures to help you in battle. Please post some ideas for pets.

    i dont like this idea cause this game is not a persistent world so you dont need to travel great distances AND its realtime skill fighting so pets wouldn't work in it

    Being a Ranger is definately one of my goals for Guild Wars. Possibly a Ranger Necromancer, as my other character will be an Elementalist Monk. As it was in the last beta weekend. But even as an Elementalist monk I did end up with a pet pig at one stage at the start of the game, even if he stopped following me when I got to the first town. He didn't do much anyway. LOLimage.  But what I really wanted was to have a wolf or bird to help kick some ass. Plus the Ithas Bow will work great with the Ranger Necro I'll create.

    There are 2 facts i want to share with u:
    1) Doesnt matter how hard u try, u cant lick ur ellbow.
    2) 90% of the people who read it try to lick thier ellbows :P

    I have been a range for the last 2 beta weekends and I have a lvl 14 pet wolf called franke ::::26:: he looks mean but he's a soft guy underneath al that teeth and fur ::::02::

    I would recommend to anyone wanting to a ranger to go a anger / elementalist and specialise in air magic.
    the reason for this is that being a ranger you really need to keep your distance between ou and your target or it can get nasty quickly, there are some air magic spells like lighting javelin that will knock people down and stop them from over running your position, plus take the revive animal skill as normal res skills dont work on pets.

    if you ever need help getting hold of a pet during the beta events just pm talesin hoeth ::::39:: and I'll help you out anyway i can
