Response to Trolling on Alganon

Hey guys,

It has come to our attention that the disruption of the environment here is getting out of hand. With that said, I am not going to see this forum turned into a circus, and so I am instructing our moderators to take a heavy-handed approach with these forums in an effort to restore the balance.

Think about what you want to say before you say it.

Negativity is fine, as long as it is constructive. Trolling is creating threads or responding to threads with nothing to really back up your opinions, but it is also in the manner and frequency with which you voice it.

If you do not like Alganon, it is not necessary for you to post into every Alganon thread to make that known.

In short, "You're on thin ice, my pedigree chums. And I shall be under it when it breaks."

This should go with ALL game posts. The community on these forums are what make people not even want to try out up and comming mmo's, not even knowing if they would truely hate or enjoy the game. I could be wrong, but I feel these forums are what made AOC less successful, sure they had a rough launch with bugs and lack of content....but I feel the trolling has gotten to a point to people not even trying the upcomming game, and just take the word of the misinformed trolls, your ruining the mmo industry!

i might just be punching a glacier saying this.....but mentioning WoW in your arguments no longer gives credibility. They made a great mmo, do you really want mmo's here on out to be like wow? if so, we'd be playing all mmo's on our iphones, give new ideas a chance. I even remember a rep from blizzard stating, if you want to make a successful mmo, dont copy us.

if you plan on giving a cirtique on an mmo, make sure you actually played it 1st and not base your garbage opinion off of what some uneducated 13 year old rants about it.

by the way...enjoy that line "punching a glacier" while u still can.....ur grandchildren wont know what a glacier is.
