More and more games now are having voice comms as an essential feature.. not a bad thing, i do prefer Vent.. but in game voice does tend to make it .. i wouldnt say immersive exactly.. but for action games where typing would slow you down too much. its kind of essential, especially in team/group based activities.. plus.. games are more social these days than ever after all
imho this is a good thing.. altho clans and cells what ever u call them in this game will have there own voip servers.. its gives the lonewolfs a tool to use teamwork..
also its a scifi game how is this going to break imersion?
u can have like a nucleour reactor powerd chain saw long blade rifle that when u hit some one with its projectiles causes mass orgasiums! and it would still be viable in this genre lol..

In-game vVoice is serviced through Vivox, which also provides the voice for many other major games.
