Guild Wars: Wintersday Take Two

This year's Wintersday celebration was fraught with problems, including bugs, lag, and other myriad issues.

As a result, Guild Wars Community Manager Regina Buenaobra has announced that the event will indeed be returning, though no date is currently available.

    well Cantha new year is rapidly approaching so either they will run it with that since Cantha New year is a Factions only event..or they will make us wait till the WintersDay in July event..which aint much of an event anyhow since all thats realy there are the snowball fightgs

    Ummm, I think none of the above. The statement was that it would be rerun.

     Kinda glad cause I was a bit busy this year and spent what time I had on Aion. Prolly pop in for a long weekend when it happens.

     The events are kinda fun.

    I'd rather the devs get cracking on Guild Wars 2 personally.

    Tried: LotR, CoH, AoC, WAR, Jumpgate Classic
    Played: SWG, Guild Wars, WoW
    Playing: Eve Online, Counter-strike
    Loved: Star Wars Galaxies
    Waiting for: Earthrise, Guild Wars 2, anything sandbox.

    This year's Wintersday celebration was fraught with problems, bugs, lag, and other myriad issues. As a result, ArenaNet has announced that the event will be returning via an update posted to the Guild Wars forums at IncGamers by the game's Community Manager Regina Buenaobra.

    The people working on GW have nothing to do with Guild Wars 2. GW has a small live crew.

    i hope that it doesnt coincide with the Canthan New Year nor wait till July
    besides, Wintersday in July is a regular event already
    and i already got ingredients for the Canthan New Year cuz our guild will host a district
    i dont wanna miss the Celestial Tiger minipet RAWR!

    Events are serious business in GW ^_^
