Congrats and good luck..... but Alabama.... ugh..... Go Tide I guess.
Actually The tide is based out of Tuscaloosa thats the main campus. Whats up in huntsvill is the Alabama A & M and University of North Alabama both each have their own small AAA teams. However about 50% of the state roots for bama and 50 for Aurburn you never know.
My oldest one goes to UAB and they are the blazers. But I still route for the tide.
I figured Richard Aihoshi would have been scooped up first the way he is now endlessly shilling for F2P's. I can understand though. Why take a job from one company when you can get kickbacks and bribes from several at once.

You answered your own statement, but I agree with you.
Good luck Dana, we'll miss you. Hope to see your work soon, don't disappoint us with a new scamville or an item mall milking based MMO, please. Or do that, but at least show us the innovation you show to possess through your column, because it's what the genre currently needs.
Well, since I disagreed with practically every thing he said in regards to how MMO's should be, lets just say I won't be waiting with baited breath for what he comes up with ...

"If we don't attack them, they will attack us first. So we'd better retaliate before they have a chance to strike"
Not if you take into account vicarious learning.
Everyone sees that if you write articles favouring MMO developers, you land a nice, juicy job with them...
... now what are they gonna do? :P
FYI, not that I've noticed Massey's articles were particularly skewed. I find most mmmorpg.com articles to be a little bit that way.
