I just started FoM today, and have come to the realization that I have no clue what I'm doing. That being said, I understand the concept of the game, I just don't know anyone else playing. I made a LED character, but I'm willing to switch. Is there anyone who wouldn't mind showing a complete newb some of the things this game has to offer?

Easiest way is probably going to be just talking with your faction. Lots of them seem to have sort of initiations for new players and giving them an idea of what everything is. There is also a rather helpful FoM tutorial on Youtube to give you an idea of what everything is and what to do.
Bans a perma, but so are sigs in necro posts.

Ive seen the tutorial, and it was very helpful to explain what you can do, the interface, and the basic functions of the game. My problem is that I don't know how to go about doing anything. Lol. I think you are right though. I'll have to talk to my faction a bit to see what everyone else is doing. Thanks. I am still interested in finding a group of people to play with though. I have no friends that play, so I'm a little lonely. If anyone else wants a little company, please let me know.
