Has anyone got codes from eb games stores in canada yet?

Apparently they should be given out by friday. Try contacting EB that day. EB can be really retarded when it comes to preorder keys.

If I buy from Amazon, I live in Canada, anyone know if I will get a code?
I think I read somewhere that you needed to have ordered from amazon.com not the Canadian amazon to get the codes... no link though

STEAM is offering the Digital Deluxe version, and the steam version comes w/ a steam exclusive armor for your away team if you pre-order it.
I went with the Direct2Drive pre order and got the code right away.
Yeah I went to EB games today and no pre-order bonuses... I know I can get them through the digital downloads but I really wanted a hard copy for this game. Is there another way other than eb games to get a hard copy of the game?
I'm a bit worried to order it through amazon.com also, since who knows how long it will actually take to receive it.
I personally ordered through Amazon.com and they say it'll only take 1-2 days or so for shipping (I chose the fastest shipping), so I should have it by the 3rd or so. If you want a hard copy of the game, I'm sure Best Buy and Futureshop will have copies, you just won't get a preorder. If you need a preorder, I'm afraid your only options are really EB or Amazon, for a hard copy anyways.

Talked with Gamestop in Edmonton today and was advised the codes were not in - next week "sometime" was the response...

They said the same to me earlier in the week when I popped down the one by Walmart up the top end of Stony Plain road.

No. It's definately not free. I'll give you my numbers (shipping to Toronto)

Amazon.com wont ship to Canada only Amazon.ca as far as I know. You can buy from other resellers on Amazon.com but they would usually charge a fee for physical delivery.
Thanks for the quick response man, i'm in Toronto also. I really want that pre-order + hard copy but i'm not willing to spend another 25 bucks just for it

Actually Amazon.com will ship certain things to Canada, but not everything, whereas Amazon.ca will ship anything it has to Canada. Amazon.CA does not have the preorder item stuff, so you can only get it through .com but luckily they are shipping it to us. Sure you have to pay shipping and wait a day or two, but the import fee just ends up being the tax you'd normally pay.

thats the 7-11 days shipping. Anyone know if you do it like this can I still play retail without the actual box when it goes live? Can I setup a subscription and play?
Oh yes, I should have mentioned I ordered the Collectors Edition, lol.
There IS a 'grace period' between launch day and the time you need to enter your retail key before your account stops. This means you should be able to play for a week or so (I think) before you need to put in your retail key. Just note that you won't get your preorder item until you put that in either.

I sent gamespot a e-mail asking if they can confirm if the codes were gonna be even sent to canada, and heres my reply.

You also have to make sure you go there that day and ask them to 'look' for the keys, because they like to just hand them out at random to customers who buy anything other than the actual preorder.
It happened to me a while back. Bought a replacement (used) 360 controller and they gave me the PO bonus card/beta key for WAR. Didnt even notice untill I was already at home. Means someone got screwed out of thier PO card.

Yeah this happened to me. I had 3 preorders and they "don't know" what happened to the keys I was supposed to get. I promptly canceled all of my preorders on the spot and complained to the regional manager who gave me a $10 gift card, lol.
I'm really glad there are places like Steam and Amazon so I don't have to deal with those crooks.

Wanted to update you guys, I just found this and maybe it'll help you too.
If you ordered with EB and you're worried about them screwing around with your preorder key, check this out:

My suggestion is if you've ordered with EB and you don't care too much about the box, just want the Connie preorder bonus, buy from one of those. I've sent an email in to gamestop support asking them to make sure it was okay to preorder through their download service from Canada and still get the preorder key etc, but I'm sure it'll be fine.
Unfortunately if you still want the boxed copy or CE, you'll have to deal with EBs craptacular service. Hopefully this will help some people at least.

Gamestop = EB. It's the same company.
