I am continuously reading about various bots, hacks and dups on many mmorpgs. Seeing the number of people willing to use bots and hacks... and the games companies not wanting to loose customers by banning them. How about having a zero tollorence policy on all servers for bots etc and making one server where all of these players are moved too. The players botting for their own advantage, will find themselves competing only ith other botters and cheaters .... and the people who bot for money, will loose all their customers, since they wont sell much to fellow botters . In the mean time the games company keeps all their cash as they havent banned any accounts.... sounds fair to me
Any other suggestions???

It might work? The only problem is one of those servers might just work as a perfect training ground for hackers and botters to perfect their stuff so they can eventually bring it to the main servers. It would be no fun being hacking on a hacking server because everyone is doing it. You have no cheap advantage over legitimate players which is what they strive for. I doubt it would work.
they could also use it as a testing ground for fixes to hack and dupes and detection routines for the bots
Make of it what you will.
It would not work.
Again, the primary driving issue for the use of bots is the commodity of Time. People use bots because it advances their gameplay at a faster rate than by playing alone...whether that be by heal/buff bots, money bots, or some other form of creative macro.
For some, the point is simply a savings of time, and a server where bots was allowed would probably be satisfactory. But for many, bots are about competitive advantage: being the best, being the first to be the best and being the only one to be the best. A server where there was minimal competition (a bot-free server) would be extremely attractive to this player...and I feel that most bot players are in this category.
They have already proven their willingness to defy EULA's by runnign bots, and thus there would be little reason for them to stop doing so.
