It seems i am a half hour late to get a beta key through fileplanet, my dad got into it and i wish i was 
. if any one has an extra key it would be much appreciated

Try Googling or even Binging Star trek online Open Beta Key there' sbound to be somewhere with some keys left there are tons of places giving them away besides File Planet. (wonders if people just prefer to have things handed to them instead of trying themselves).
Ive tried numerous sites, either you have to have a premuim account or all the keys have been distrubuted
yeah, I am in the same boat. I am pretty sad I did not get a key out of like the 5 sites I was in que for one
