All the other MMOs can eat it. LOVE is most anticipated.
Good job, Eskil! Looking forward to seeing where LOVE goes!

awesome it even if it's page 12
I find it amazing that by 2020 first world countries will be competing to get immigrants.
Hey that still means it made 12 out of ALL the games coming out next year. It beat some big IPs. For god's sake, it beat Mass Effect 2 and Super Mario Galaxy 2!
Also worth mentioning is that Fez is on that list. =]

Yeah this idea was mentioned a while ago, can't remember where I read it from, but it's nice to see it's still alive and anticipated, considering it's trying to offer something different in mmo's. Each player will be like an artist in creating it's content... should prove interesting, even if only proves to be more of an art/socialogical experiment.
I'll give it a try.
I have to say that I am in love with LOVE. The game is so awesome, and Eskil had made it all by himself, including the 3D programs he is using!
I've always had an interest in it, but I'm nearing the actual courage needed to take the dive. One question though; how does server selection work? Is it random? I'd like to have someone from this site that plays school me in some of the complicated things.

No, you can choose what server you want to play on.
Also, for now at least, Eskil has taken away the cost of swapping servers.
I've had an eye on this game for a while. Congrats to the one Dev.
Definitely going to check this one out when I can find the time.
"Mr. Rothstein, your people never will understand... the way it works out here. You're all just our guests. But you act like you're at home. Let me tell you something, partner. You ain't home. But that's where we're gonna send you if it harelips the governor." - Pat Webb
LOVE showed what fakes and phonies many of the posters on here are. You hear them everyday bitching about something that is not "the same old fetch quest themepark guided garbage" but then LOVE comes up and they say what a ripoff and an asshole the guy is because he DARES to charge for beta. I guess the only way to make it right is for the guy to make the entire game from scratch and also go bankrupt covering the hosting costs alone so these same people can bitch about how different it is and then go back and play the same games they "hated".
I haven't had time to play but I gave the guy 10 bucks just for having the balls to try something different. I hope he succeeds and gives hope for other indy MMO developers. It's a very hard and largely thankless job so I hope only good things come to him.
Wow guy, wait till someone says it before you snap.

Obviously you haven't read either the LOVE Alpha or Beta threads.
No I haven't, but I still say keep the barrel cocked for when it's actually needed.
No need to argue over it either, some people treat games like movies. Without big name studios and lots of backing money, anything less-than isn't worth their time, yet worth their critique.

...and yet, mmorpg.com hasn't even listed it.
wtf is up with that?
Hype train -> Reality
It's a conspiracy, I'm telling you. Well, no...
I assume Eskil hasn't contacted MMORPG.com at all.
However, now that each server can support 500 players at a time, they have no reason not to, should Eskil decide to contact them.

This MMO project is very unique and deserves alot of credit for what it is trying to do. Eskil has quite the imagination.
Edit: If anyone has also seen the beta footage that Eskil posted, did you get a flashback to reading "The Euphio Question" by Kurt Vonnegut JR when you heard him speak of the radio frequencies?
