Shaman still suck in PvP after two expansions and 4 years?

Do Shaman still pale in comparison to all the other classes and specs out there? I am specifically looking at enhancement and then elemental. I am sure resto is by far the weakest and easiest healer to shut down.
So, have the devs breathed any life into shaman pvp or are the still being completely and totally ignored?

I played an enhance shaman, I don't think anything changed now when I look at the builds. It still looks the same. I owned 2's in shattered halls with my enhance shaman (my 2's partner was a disc priest). I'm not trying to brag as I played for free and only for a few months.
Isn't Elemental doing well in PvP, at least in 5's arena. When I played my druid I remember resto shamans being hell to try and take down.
Shaman does well in larger scale PVP encounters like in 5's arena and BG. I personally feel that Shaman isn't a very strong class in 1on1 duel because the lack of controlling/escape abilities.
blizzard gave up trying to fix the pvp balance problem in wow along time ago....
Like all classes they have their moments when they shine and their moments when they suck, depending on what was currently patched. Which means that if you wait long enough they will become again powerful, then again weak, etc as with all classes. In the meantime while waiting, you can spend the time either complaining how much your favorite class got nerfed and that everyone who beats you can do so only because of said nerfs, or, depending on the patch, what for a great player you are that thanks to your skill you can pwn everyone.

This shows exactly what is so awesome about WoW. The entire populations ability to PvP well is based simply on their class.
No, one simple complain on a random forum doesn't show anything.
Shamans were rather powerful in BC as well, Windfury Totem in a cleave setup such as S4's Ret+Warrior+Shaman could blow up the so called overpowered resto druids in a matter of seconds.
