    According to US retail information, you need a credit card to activate your free month even if you have a game card.

    You need to enter credit card billing once you create your account for any MMORPG - some games allow the use of Gamecards, I think WOW is one of these.

    Yay!! cant wait for it on Fridayimageimage. Hope there are enough servers with everyone thats getting it. Will it be playable on a 150k broadband connection coz i have a 300k one but my bro wants to share itimage

    of course the first month is free.

    Possibly you need to insert Credit Card detail at account creation, i do not know about that ;)

    About the servers i am just shivering knowing there will be ONE roleplaying server in the english language... and i already know it will be so packed full in first day to be unplayable. i hope Blizzard see that and add 2-3 more pronto.

    So you are saying that the game comes with the first month free, but you need a credit card or a gamecard to activate it? Also, if this is true, Gamecards will only be available 4th march wich would make it impossible for anyone to play the game before that day if they dont have a credit card.

    When i bought WOW about 20 days ago. I used my guest pass key first, and got 10 days free. Then when that was up I entered my retail key and now im working on my 30 days free before im billed anything. I had to enter my credit card number when I setup my account but it gives you the option to enter game card numbers also. So if you want to use game cards your credit card should never be billed, but I think you do need a credit card when you first make the account.

    Well i play from canada. There seems to be aleast 20 or more servers that are RP here in the North American version so hopefully they should have atleast that amount for you guys to play on.

    Yep I'm afraid your right we will now have to wait again till Match 4th. Though some retailers say the cards will be avalible Feb. 25th
