    Fake system Requirements nice try though.

    This has only been released officially:

    "SquareEnix has stated that the PC version of Final Fantasy XIV will likely need a fairly powerful computer. The Final Fantasy XIV community expects the minimum system requirements to be similar to The Last Remnant, which are as follows:

    * CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo (2GHz) AMD Athlon X2 (2GHz)
    * RAM: 1.5 GB Ram
    * Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 VRAM 256 MB or equivalent

    We will have to wait until we hear more from SquareEnix to confirm the information, likely as the beta version of Final Fantasy XIV (PC) gets dated.

    The Playstation 3 version will most likely require 10GB or more hard drive space. The Xbox 360 version has not yet been confirmed, but would no doubt require the same amount of space."

    you didnt take him seriously did you? If those specs were the minimum very few people would be able to play, It would take thousands of dollars to build that build. Not to mention those were the top of the line specs that a person could build.

    Yeah us poor people are going to be screwed this year with all these nice MMO's coming out.

    I'm dumping some tax return on this though this year. I'm on a budget.

    Intel Pentium i3 G6950 2.8GHz LGA 1156

    EVGA P55 LE 123-LF-E653-KR LGA1156 Intel P55 ATX Intel Motherboard

    HIS Radeon HD 5750 H575FN1GD Video Card x2 Crossfired

    G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory

    Intel X25-V SSDSA2MP040G2R5 2.5" MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

    WD 150GB Velociraptor

    CORSAIR CWCH50-1 120mm High Performance CPU Water Cooler

    Hopefully this will hold me over until next year.

    Getting too old for this $&17!

    BTW. I was joking with those specs for those of you  who took it seriously. It's nice that people actually meet  or surpass them, but the average consumer doesn't. Some of us have to sacrifice here and there. And the thing is a LOT of us "average consumers" make up a big portion the MMO community. I know a lot of poor saps still playing on CRT monitors STILL using their P4's. And the only investments they can make in their outdated systems is a  new inexpensive video card and maybe some more RAM.

    Oh and the first response on my specs joke, can I have your PC? lol!

    Some people (not this one) choose to play on a CRT because of colors. I think LCD and the like have caught up though, but when you have PCs now a days that don't come with new monitors if something is still working for you ... have fun with it.
