No, it's horrible...have you read any PC magazines, websites that review games, hell...it was even in my local newspaper. What kind of question is that? Oh, if you still didn't get my drift yet, the game is "good". I think I would recommend googleing "World of Warcraft" before asking something that general.
Im not going to tell you whether or not it is good becasue it would be my opinion which can be buyest. So, instead im just going to link you to a bunch of sites with information which you can gather and conclude if the game is worth playing or not.
Right now the Player vs. Player is in need of some work as there is no reward other than the satisfaction of murdering another player. Other than that i found WoW to be enjoyable.

i think blizzard made the High Fantasy Mmorpg like it was supposed to be done in the first pass. Now it is there. So, yes, it is a great game. This do not necesarrily means you will like it though.
Because you might not like this particular genre of MMorpgs
But still, there can't be discussion of its value outside pure personal taste as great reviews from ALL magazines/web sites and even the rating of THIS site (8.8, yeah, higest rating ever, beating the second game by 1.3 points), composed only by users like you and me, should tell you.
"If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day, if you teach him how to fish, you feed him for a lifetime"
Lacks originality, content, and reliability, but other than that, sure, it's good.
Graphics are great, plots and quests are unique and creative, and the skills, talents, and variety of things you can do w/ your character is extremely diverse. You'll have fun, I think.

My gamesmagazine never reviewes mmorpg's because they dont like em.. but because most of them liked WoW they decided to review it and give their highest grade ever(togheter with Metroid Prime) it was close to a 10
Great in the beginning, Frustrating in the end. There's a couple quests broken in the high levels, and some of them aren't worth wasting your time on. My negative thoughts on it. On the positive side, just play it there's lots to experience.
The ratings have been very high for this game from this site, and from most magazines that review this gendre of game. That does not mean everyone will like the game.
Blizzard did take heat over the server problems they had. They deserved the heat they took as well. However the servers are functioning ok now. OK does not mean perfect, but the worst problems are gone.
Personally I burn through games pretty fast. I never buy one of these games thinking I will be there still in six months. I might come back to a game with an expansion pack. So while I really like WOW I seriously doubt that it will hold me forever as some would like a game to do. Other people seem to be able to play the same game for years.
I'm thinking about getting this game, but you'd probably get a wider range of opinions if you asked this in the General Discussion of MMORPG.com rather than the General Discussion of World of Warcraft. I'm guessing WoW's fans tend to congregate here for news and discussion.

Better than any garbage you play.
Anywho, it's a good game overall, dont get into a high traffic server or you'll have letency issues.
