First, I would like to start by saying hello to all potential Legion members. Greetings and salutations. Now that we got the formalities aside, I can tell you a little about Legion as a clan. We are quite competitive, to say the least. We strive to better ourselves through action and practice. We are NOT carebear. Last but not least, just have a good time people; I know I do, you should as well.
Legion has many goals, some of them I may not be at liberty to say publicly. Politics aside, we are more neutral in our goals than most guilds. Some may try to enforce their laws with an iron fist, or try to spread their influence across the world. Legion will keep its goals simple and enjoy the comforts of MO life. Some goals we have are as follows:
Found, build and defend a guild city.
* Pretty self explanatory, we will need a guild city to plan our operations out in private, no spy's allowed! There are many other reasons to have a city that don't necessarily need to be explained here.
Keep our members at a comfortable wealth... by any means necessary.
* We hold no morals about what we do exactly. If you want something, you can take it. If you want to kill someone to take their fuzzy plumed hat, so be it. If we organize a break-in to a home that we have discovered is full of fat loots, join in on the fun. All we ask is that you accept the consequences when they come, just know we will be backing you up.
To leave an impression on the world.
* People will know our name, for better or worse. One way or the other, you will know us.
Have a good time.
* Common people, it's just a game, don't whine, don't bitch, don't complain, don't QQ.
Legion is a guild of rogues, vagabonds and the occasional wanderer. We don't hold tight to many scruples, in fact, we really only hold tight to the swords at our hip. All we ask for is Loyalty to Legion and its members, meaning no two timing to other guilds, in addition to trusting Legion with its decisions. Other than that, kill, maim, steal, pillage, rape(okay, maybe not rape), explode, assassinate and did I mention explode? to get what you want.
* No multi-clanners/guilders.
* Loyalty is paramount.
* Always operate in the interest of Legion.
* Legion is PVP based, first and foremost.
* Legion is not a zerg guild. Quality over quantity.
* Legion has a predetermined view of player skill, if you do not meet this requirement and can not adapt, you will not stay in Legion for long.
* Legion knows that age is just a number, but maturity is a lifestyle. If you are young, yet mature, and have the skills we are looking for, we will not discriminate.
* Murderer? More than welcome in our books.
The Legion system functions to achieve two major goals. First, the modularity of Legion divisions allows for fine tuning of the guild at a personal, member to member basis. Second, it will foster excellent team skill and organization for large scale operations, 48+ players.
The term modularity is in reference to the twelve man divisional structure of Legion. The guild as a whole is run and managed by the twelve members of the primary division, IIXII. As new divisions are formed and filled, previous guild council members step out of the primary division to command them.
For more information on Legion's structure, I urge you to visit our website. Also note that our organizational system is not fixed. Consider it in the 'beta' stages, as it may be changed to a more functional design, if necessary (though if changed it will likely not be changed significantly).

Aren't there TWO guilds called Legion in Mortal Online? Did you guys fight it out or are you going to have a day one race to see who claims the name?

err no, there are faaar better guilds in MO. I prefer AI, I mean those guys actually hold a bandit town. Legion holds nothing, they just create their own hype on forums by making threads like this, they have no force in game.

You can already see how many times we've stolen AI's thunder by this reply. The game's in beta, so AI holds nothing. When you compare our accomplishments to AI's in game, it always comes down to this... "What major contribution has AI done for the community?" Answer: "The MO countdown timer thread." We took first in the Age of Chiv (MO guilds only) tournament, we were number 1 in last years Age of Chiv PGP League (open to Steam clans), our logistics team is way ahead of the AI team in refining, and our PvPers are top notch especially compared to AI's.
In my eyes, the saddest thing about AI is the fact that they are the OLDEST and LARGEST guild currently in MO, and they felt the need to ally with FRC, the other largest clan in MO. If that doesn't show you something....
As for there being 2 Legions in Mortal Online... the "Legion of 12 year olds" disappeared from the MO forums a long time ago, not to mention the community recognizes and supports us as the "true" Legion.
Plain and simply, Legion is a skill based PvP clan for mature players. We are very chill in vent, and are drama free. You're required to have at least 1 Red, but the rest is up to you. You're welcome to join the clan as a crafter, however you will still be required to adhere to all combat skill testing.
In other words... you can craft for us, as long as you can hold your own in PvP.
EDIT: As for the title of the thread... referring to us as the "Best," it's simply not the case. There is no best. However, we are a very good choice for a PvP minded player who wants to enjoy himself and have clan-mates that he can count on when he fights. Don't base your decision on the thread, or even people's opinions. Check us out, or fight us in game.

I haddn't heard about FRC and AI becommming allies. If they did that is sad indeed.

anyway, We have an active recruitment drive, but we dont recruit 'anybody'.
We have a long recruitment process were we evaluate the skills of people who want to join. Of course, people with good skills will get in much faster than poorly skilled players.
Most people who create thread dont stick around for long when they find that we have a evaluation process, and often jump into less desirable guilds which are aiming for qauntity rather than qaulity.

You guys should probably start using PMs.... I don't think this thread serves much purpose for recruiting people to Legion OR AI...
