how to fix global agenda, input your thoughts..

Here, I start it off with my opinions,

1. Make recon cloaking work when stationary, when moving, you can see a haze, remove energy when whacking sword all crazy when they do

2. cooldown/toggle on shields removed as its just stupid... toggle on/off as needed with a reduce power usage.. This will bring some skill into the game.. for now its a skillless do i haz or not haz a shield game.. (nothing more stupid than wasting your entire energy bar shooting some doofus, for him to stand there and take it.. then pop a shield.. go invuln on your damage type as he walks away)

3. remove the combo chain heal.. only one healer on one peep at a time. cuz this is where the entire game will be.. and will be exploited time after time in a tank/healer/teank/healer/assault/healer wedge formation of stupidity.

4.  remove combat from medics.. cuz omg does it suck having some medic shooting his pea shooter

    oh yeah..

    Fix the jetpack, so you can actually have some flight battles...

    This pathetic get to the roof or fly over a spot or get to the window thing is stupid... I can make one key critical shot while flying.. man the fun i would have if i could strafe in the air and shoot like a real game would support.

     Copy more from tribes including the shifter and rengades mods. Make the 10v10 pvp maps larger. Introduce vehicles into them. Make maps take longer but give more rewards. Placeable shields(not talking the temp engineer shields) multiple placeable turrets. Really step it up. Just copy tribes. And increase the number of players in these. 10v10 is fine for some maps. But 20v20 would be great for larger maps. 

    allow the use of jetpacks and weapons. And base them off different energy pools.

    1. Nah stealth is fine the way it is imo. They tweaked melee so its not as powerful as it used to be. Usually its wise to fly away when getting wailed on.

    2. Naah, not feeling that especially with that invul shield. I usually just end up following them and finishing them off anyways. If you could just toggle that on and off that would be rather OP imo.

    3. Meh indifferent, with some group strategy doesn't matter much

    4.  What will poison medics do then =S

    Why ya posting your ideas here? They have a section for it on the official forums in the wouldn't it be cool section.

    Heh I have the exact same thoughts.

    I played Tribe 1 and 2, they are fantastic.. (especially with the mods). Global Agenda seems like an alpha version Tribes with a graphical chat room, talents, levelling, and a monthly fee if you want to experience large battles.

    Global Agenda seems underwhelming after experiencing the Tribes series.

    True. But it's so close! It could almost be the successor to tribes. Almost. They have a decent foundation.
