Aion: Double XP This Weekend!

Aion Community Manager Andrew "Tamat" Beegle has revealed a new Double XP Weekend event in an announcement made to the official Aion website earlier today.

The event will run from 8PM EST on Friday, January 22nd through Monday, January 25th at 8AM EST.

    Great!!! but....

    I would more appreciate it if they would give out some exp boost items to all players instead of offering a weekend. We also had 3x Double exp weekends in December, but I missed 2 of them because I was on a business trip. Now its the same for the next double exp WE and I wont be at home for the whole WE.

    So, giving out an Double exp item (1x for 1 account, lasting 3days, and will give double exp to all chars on that account) to every player would be a more fair solution, since ppl can decide by them selfs when to use it.

    So it is a great thing that we have events like this, but there are also ppl that dont get anything from that kind of events.

    They do, in a way that's similiar to the City of Heroes veteran rewards. If you've been subscribed for three or more months, you should have some redeemable items that you can grab from the account website, including XP boosters. :)

    cool i will be able to lvl my toon and lvl to 30 ,i dont bother to grind since its way too long but i do lvl up my single toon when

    they make double xp week-end,since the pace is fair only when its double xp week-end.

    They don't want to give you items that you can use whenever you want.  They want you to stay  home and play their game on the weekends.

    I guess I'll be playing this weekend and try to finally make it closer to 25 so I can start enjoying the game.  Im stuck at lvl 14 but im just bored of grinding quests I want to do some freakin dungeon runs and PvP.. God only knows why they make you wait till 25 for it I wonder how many other people got bored before then like I.

    Once you hit the abyss it gets better until you hit the gank squad then you leave rofl.

    They do, in a way that's similiar to the City of Heroes veteran rewards. If you've been subscribed for three or more months, you should have some redeemable items that you can grab from the account website, including XP boosters. :)

    Yeah, Veteran Rewards.

    Every month you get a reward, and as seen here http://na.aiononline.com/veteranrewards/ you get 4 Lodas Amulets per month to send to each of your characters.

    Yeah If i get there Id always be in a group but I was really wanting to do more taking defending fortress kind of thing.
