As useful and entertaining as I've found this site to be, I have decided to never return. I was aware that certain sections of the site had links to virtual currency dealers, but it amazes how long it took me to notice the huge banners advertising for IGE that can be found at the top of the explorer at any time (alternating with other ads). I didn't have any huge effect on this community; I am only writing this message in case there are others who have missed this ad and feel the same way I do. I won't try to start the age-old moral debate on this subject, but shame on you mmorpg.com for helping so many break the rules of these games. Even in games where it is unclear if this is against the rules, or where others make the distinction of "paying for the time invested not the actually virtual items" it is still against the rules in many games for more than one person (especially outside of the same household) to use the same account. This will be a huge loss for me, I visited the site almost religiously and it's a great thing to do in between classes. I will miss the informative, logical arguments, and many of the moments in the off-topic discussion.

? I do not see any IGE ads and never have. Plus, mmorpg.com bans everyone who posts illegal things.

We had this disscusion before.

Basically the site will delete any information posted on this forum with account trading.

However,the site needs $$$ and that comes from advertizing.

I am also bothered by the ads for selling virtual items. I guess the site needs the money but I sure whish they could find other advertisers.

With all due respect to the owners of this site it does seem that if they themselves are gamers they would not want to be supporting that activity.

I honestly don't care what adds appear. For one, I don't ever look at them because im used to shunning them out from every other web page I visit. And two, who cares what adds are up there? MMORPG.com doesn't have anything to do with these adds other then they provide add space for them where they make money. They shouldnt care what add goes up as long as their making money off it. Its your choice to look at them and take any of them seriously. If you dont like it, ignore it.
