So Red clothing = enemy?

If you play with LED or FDC players, a ton of players think that anything in red clothing is the enemy.
Only 2 Factions in this game can be Identified by their clothing. FDC and LED wear uniforms.
All other factions have a wide selection of colors... Red is one of those selections for ALL of them.
"But I can identify Mercs and Brotherhood's outfits!"

Guardians of Mankind have the same outfits as Mercs and Brotherhood... that means they ALL look exactly the same. (Yes even the red ones)
"How do I know who the enemy is then?"
The only people that can be identified by their clothing are the LED and FDC factions. No other faction can be identified by their clothing...(clothing helps narrow down the possibilities, but is not a sure sign)
If you want to be able to identify your enemies, Mercs is a good factions to join. Their enemies are LED and FDC... so they have the easiest time recognizing who to kill.
Anyhow, spread the word and keep your LED/FDC noobs in check.
My char was Guardian of Mankind, and constantly got attacked by noobs because of the tiny bit of red on my clothing. Tons of idiot LED and FDC have tried to knife me in the back while I'm at the market terms. I enter brooklyn and hear noobs yell "theres a red" and get attacked before I have even taken 3 steps.
You LED are there to protect 5 other factions, all of which can wear red clothing, and one of which(Guardians of Mankind) looks exactly like your enemies - The Brotherhood and Mercs. Guardians share a common enemy with you LED(The Brotherhood)

lol thats true:p My first character was FDC, and whenever red showed up we killed him.. then I got sick of the noobs in FDC cause they kept killing me for reasons like: IM firing at a wall, I accidently fired upon someone cause I didnt know I held my gun up, even if i said sorry didnt mean to.. Ofcourse there was a problem beeing in fdc clothes 2, every merc or bos killing you, and you couldnt walk freely alone..
So after some deaths i got perm death and made a character in BOS, witch is so much better.. And no I dont use red as thats just suecide:P I use blue and have a name similar to the NPC so i can walk slow and noone would notice if I was bos.. THey think im another crazy npc.. Yesterday we held the entire berlin under our control, no fdc survived and the LED could walk freely if they didnt shoot us.. and no miners/corp people died either..
SO if you want to play with ppl with brain, choose BOS!

Im a Merc, so one thing I dont understand is if I kill someone form an enemy faction will I become a murderer? Right now im still learning the game and I dont want to go getting myself killed just yet, or being known as a murderer.

What is PP? When i teleported to Brooklyn a bunch of LEDs were checking me for PP.
PP means penalty points. You dont get them if you are attacked first and you manage to kill the attacker withing 3 minutes. If you kill after those 3 minutes you will get penalty points.
Also, when you are on a mission ( signed in ) you can kill enemy faction members in the mission area without gaining penalty points.
