1,500?!?!

Well if you haven't read the recent news yet then I'll fill you in.  They say that last night on DAOC got 1,500 players fighting at the same time on the same battlefield!  Now maybe thats just me but I find that amazing.  I mean come on 1,500 people!  That's a whole lotta people!

My question is(for anyone who has played DAOC or who played last night):  Is the battle's in this game really that good?  They  sound like they would be really epic and fun, but how are they really?

    that sounds cool, i remember on FFXI they had 3 zones full of all PVP on designated time where you fight for your country... they had some kick ass PVP and some epic battles if i might add... being a thief was the best...

    as for that 1500 people at once... i dont know anything about that.

    If so, I have never herd of that many on a battle field before. most ive seen is 200. I dont even know if the bg's can take that many.

    It's DAOC, dark age of camelot. And yes the battles are epic and fun, best PvP of any game I have ever played.

    Thanks for sharing your amazing, useful, no-knowledge-what-so-ever, exaggerated flame.

    I don't like Lineage 2, but I can at least see the positives of that game while I hate it. No matter what you say, Lineage 2 in Korea had more than 1500 in castle sieges and various other stuff.

    Back on topic, DAoC is past it's time I'm afraid, you will be bored out of your brains as a newbie under level 20, because of the amazing /level command for level 50's that makes them instantly level 20.

    Err, and I guess... grats to DAoC on getting 1500 in a RvR?

    Yup, i've got all the time in the world, I just don't like spending it on things I don't like to do, unfortuantely though, I like watching your thoughtful and entertaining flames.

    Put the thesaurus down and grow up.. Both of ya.. If that number is indeed correct then I can say DAoC does a helluva lot better job at large battles than WoW.. A raid of around 100 on each side crashed the zone, then the server... Yep, or maybe thats just Warsong..
