Hi everyone,

Would just like to wish everyone luck in STO...

I wanted to love it... but something about doing missions non-stop, without any player interaction, was killing the experience. Maybe if end-game would be something bigger, not just more missions after missions.

Let me be clear though, the whole experience felt exactly like star trek... they did a great job recreating the experience.

However, the game just didn't feel like an MMO - everything being instanced was killing it for me. Why can't we all just play in one big universe?

So... I'm going back to EVE Online, where I can do a multitude of things, not just 1 thing.

Again, hope you all enjoy it. I really wanted to fly some of those awesome ships... i guess i'll never get to.

myrlar!

Yeah this game I was anticipating for years, once I played the BETA tests I was like uh oh, plus all of the info the game DEVS told us about the game turned out to be drastically different then what I was a part of. Perhaps they left out a chunk of content I mean it was BETA after all, how often to we see a finished product with an Open Beta?

Anyways I felt the Ferengi Rule of Acquisition #239 was applied to this game so...

Damar: I'd like to toss that smug little Vorta out the nearest airlock. And his Founder with him.

Gul Dukat: [laughs] Now, now, Damar, that's no way to talk about our valued allies. Not until this war is over, anyway.

    I agree completely with OP

Adding the note that I even wonder why STo is called an MMO. Over 95% of the content is solo content. And PvP..? Better grab that old copy of Quake II I'd say, at least you have more players there :D

Like OP, I'm back to EVE as well...
