How are the white lions now after a few patches?

Hi all quick question I used to play a white lion way back in the day. Im just wondering if they are any better at endgame or does the pet still get 1 shotted in pvp? Any help would be great thx

I am unsure how well they work because I personally never played as one, but playing against one I have been chased clear across a SC before. This won't totally answer your question but may provide some insight.

ya all i remember with them in tier 4 is standing around since mostly it was just ranged battles, and when you would send the pet it would get killed in a second, I remember they were talking about giving the lion resistances due to the fact it never had them. Not sure if that was implemented or not

They seem decent, but like Marauders they still aren't up to par with slayer/choppa or Witch Hunter/Witch Elf damage & they may have never intended to be which I'm guessing might be due to their pull mechanic, not sure.
Did the lion get that resistance buff? Or are they still being destroyed by mage classes in endgame?

I have not played a white lion yet. The main complaints I here from the WL community is pertaining to AP issues, but since recent AP regen changes, thats common across lots of classes. The solid WL players I fight against are beast. All combat pets (white lions and squigs) got buffed in a recent patch and seem to have better survivablility and damage.

BWs/Sorcs classes are simply glass cannons, EXTREME damage. It is not only your pet, if left unchecked and sitting there allowed to attack they will tear through a whole group of people.

Np, just remember in PvP(RvR) always remember to kill healers first, even if you have to run past attackers, then kill the highest DPS players on down to the tanks being last. That might help you if you don't already follow that. I see tons of people in game that never learned that and healers and DPS go unchecked until the whole team is dead.
